4.0 out of 5 stars Good jumping toy
This is a nice alternative to one of the regular bounce houses. It is different than the others in that you just use the fan to inflate the trampoline or to add air to it if it's low - it doesn't require the fan to keep it inflated. It does, however, take a while to inflate it - the base is inflated separately from the walls. It appears to be very safe. It says one...

It says one child at a time probably because the jumping surface isn't large but if you had 2 children under the age of 5, it would be okay (depending on how high and rowdy they might get). The opening to the trampoline is a little awkward and tight fitting - the bigger the child, the harder it is, but there's no way I could see a kid accidentally falling out of the trampoline opening either. It doesn't come with a storage bag like some of the bounce houses do so we just store ours in a big rubbermaid tub. All in all, it is a good jumping toy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Some Design Flaws, June 19, 2009

The entry/exit's netting tore at the top & bottom within minutes. It should have been designed with a door that opened wider and closed securely with a few velcro patches, not just one. I have put padding on the ground outside the entry/exit, as my granddaughter fell out through the opening soon after it tore and became insecure. The trampoline's bottom filled up with mosquito-breeding rainwater and the resulting very heavy trampoline had to be lifted to open the drain plug to empty it. It isn't as bouncy as expected, but may be safer than a metal-framed trampoline... It was easy to inflate once the faulty directions were bypassed. (We almost ruined it trying to use a nozzle which was supplied and instructed to use.) I like that it is inflatable so easier to assemble than the one we previously had with springs, and I like that it doesn't require constant blowing while in use, just an occasional refill when it gets soft. Also, it was good that it came with its own pump. Overall, I do not recommend this trampoline and will try an Intex next time.

This product is awesome! Great for exercise, especially in the winter time. We have it setup in the basement on an area rug. It's not as high as I thought it would be. I'm 5'5" and it comes up to my nose. I can peer over the top on my tip toes. I wish the sides were a little higher, but it seems safe enough.

1 Con: The entryway is poorly sewn at the bottom. The one velcro closure is very secure, however the bottom of the net at the entry ripped immediately. It's such a fun toy though. I think sewing another velcro patch at the bottom of the opening should solve the problem. This is definitely a defect in the design.

Inflated quickly and easily. Directions were accurate and easy to follow, even using the nozzles provided. Very impressed that the pump was included at this price point. I love that this has walls and no springs, bounces well, no place for feet to fall through or get stuck and it doesn't need air constantly blowing in it. I put some crib mattresses around the outside on the floor "just to be extra cautious", although it doesn't appear that it could tip over.

I would definitely recommend this product to others.

My 2 year old loves to jump so I bought this for her on her b-day. She loves it. She has so much fun jumping on it. She will take a beach ball in with her and throw it around. I love it because of the walls. I don't have to worry about her jumping off or falling out. This is a great toy to buy.

I purchased the Banzai Mega Bounce Trampoline as a Christmas gift for my little girl who, like most 2+ year old children, loves to hop as she calls it. On Christmas Eve, when she was asleep, my wife and I un-boxed the new Mega Bounce to find that the trampoline portion was missing. While we were greatly disappointed, our little girl had fun playing in the unit until Amazon shipped a replacement the following week. Please note, if you have a problem with the unit once received, don't call the manufacturer as described on the box. Call Amazon customer service directly.

After reading other reviews of the product on Amazon, the Mega Bounce (once replaced) is built and operates as expected. I agree with the post about the poor door opening design used to access the trampoline and with other posts describing its construction as the unit appears to be well built with double stitching, etc. Also, the trampoline seems to do a good job with containing children when jumping. While the weight limit is < 200 lbs., I believe this trampoline is best suited for smaller children (ages 2-9?) because of its limited rebound and size. While its described as a mega bounce trampoline, don't expect to jump too high.

I bought this toy as a Christmas gift for my brother's two son's ages 5 and 3. This was the last gift they opened and boy were they happy. It took about 30 to 45 minutes to completely fill both the top and bottom portions of the unit. Pump came with three adaptors to fill the unit with air. I found that the widest adaptor was the best for inflation. Before the kids even started to play on the trampoline I noticed that the opening to crawl into the unit was just too small. The kids instantly ripped the opening wide open. If I was to suggest one flaw it would be the way the door is designed. If the company was to design the door with a wider opening yet still secure it would be a better product. Product was definetly abused by the kids yet it still held up. Material is stiched well and quite heavy duty. Product held up to 4 days with continued use before re-inflation was necessary. I thought that that was a good time limit due to the product is made so that air is realeased when bounced on. Weight limit is said to be up to 200 pounds yet my brother and four kids all played on this at one time with no problem. Great product for every kids playroom.

My son absolutely loves this trampoline! It's a great value, too. Well made, except for the mesh entrance flap which tears pretty easily along the bottom edge. If you read the other reviews, you will notice this has been a problem for them as well. No big deal, really...As one reviewer suggested, some extra velcro along the bottom corner of the door flap should keep it closed a little better. I think we'll do the same, though I really don't see it being a big deal. The door still remains closed well enough.

I was looking for an inflatable trampoline that we could leave up all the time in our finished basement for our boys, 7 and 3. It's a perfect size for our basement which doesn't have terribly high ceilings. And best of all, it gives them a way to burn some energy inside when it's too cold to play outside in the winter.

Both boys can bounce at the same time with no problem but we do limit it to 2 kiddos at a time when friends are over for safety.

Pros:
1. There is no continual fan necessary so you can keep it inflated all the time. ( I knew that if I had to keep putting it up/taking it down I'd never want to mess with it.)
2. It was easy to blow up, with only 2 chambers to inflate with the included air pump. Adding air is a breeze and less than a 5 minute endeavor. So far, it has held the air very well and we'll just need to touch up once a month or so depending on how much they've been jumping.
3. The weight limit is 200 lbs. which means that I can even bounce with my 3 year old:) It's perfect for my boys who weigh about 55 lbs and 35 lbs.
4. The sides keep rowdy boys from flipping off unexpectedly which is very nice.

Cons:
1. As others have said, the entry door is pretty difficult for excited kids to get into/out of without tearing it. I ordered some industrial strength velcro strips, very inexpensive, and added a few patches to the opening after it came away from the bottom. It's really not a big deal and hasn't presented a safety concern.

NOTE: In addition to the air pump, it also comes with patching kits in the event of a hole, leak, etc. So far, though, this seems very durable with 2 boys all over the thing and I'm hoping we won't need them!

Overall, you can't beat this for the price! It's very fun for the under 10 set and a brilliant addition inside if you've got the space for it. My boys are thoroughly enjoying it and finding new fun ways to play, like pretending it's their fort, adding a basketball hoop to the wall above and make silly jump shots, etc.

Not as bouncy as a regular trampoline but very nice for small children and opening for entry is small but can easily be unlaced. Seems really durable and well put together and included pump inflates trampoline very quickly. Great for my three year old that loves to bounce.

We bought this trampoline for our 3-year-old and 17-month-old boys to put in our basement. It sits on a thick wool rug. It has been inflated for a month, has not lost any air and has been really fun for the boys. The only drawback has been the mesh door which has torn. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product IF you are able to put it somewhere safe for both the occupants and the trampoline. I would never put this outside and risk blowing it.
