Commercial-grade steel coating with a superior gourmet nonstick interior makes this deep dish griddle perfect for blackening fish, frying chicken, and searing meat over high heat. The two-quart griddle measures 11 by 11 by 1-1/2 inches, and cooks on either a barbecue grill or gas or electric stovetop.

Two riveted loop handles allow secure lifting and carrying even with thick oven mitts (the handles do get hot). While two of the corners form pouring lips for excess grease, the nonstick finish reduces the need for extra butter or oil when cooking, and makes clean-up a simple matter of hot water and soap. Wooden, plastic, or nylon utensils, not metal, should be used with nonstick-approved cleaning pads. A great buy on Amazon.com. This griddle is perfect for grilling onions, mushrooms, etc., and the deep dish design helps keep everything from being pushed into and through the grates. The size easily fits my smaller Weber Q grill. Perfect for tailgating.

This was a big disappointment. We use it indoors on an electric stove, so we have good control over the temperature. We use it mainly to make quasadillas (sp?), a dry, medium temp process. Even so, we found it heated very unevenly and would often burn in spots. After a few months, the coating started to peel away, so it is useless for food preperation. Don't waste your money. I wish I could get mine back.

I was really looking forward to using this pan--the size and shape are nice. But it heats food unevenly and after only a few uses the non-stick surface is peeling off even with washing by hand and using plastic spatulas. It was a real waste of money.
