The book is an excellent treatment of application of barcodes & 2D symbolnologies. For practical purposes it is best to purchase the software & manual. I bought this book a while ago. Excellent. You gain the idea how barcode works, how to create an application based on barcode. Very good for professionals in AIDC industry. For best results you need software - I recommend the fonts from Morovia Corporation.
