I felt this was a little expensive and isn't a perfect design, but it does allow you to fill the portafilter without having to hold it in place and it does solve some of those cleanup issues that occur if you don't have it. I'm glad I bought it.

The portaholder is a great thing to have (and really should be included with the Baratza grinders..). Clean up is MUCH easier because the flying grinds wind up in the container. This is a one size fits most approach.. my gaggia portafilter fits very loosely, but it works.
