I bought this as a gift for my wife who doubted she would ever use it...until the need arose. Then she was most pleased. She finds the tools more comfortable to hold and easier to use than my heavier tools. She appreciates the assortment of "odds and ends" which she, in the past, has been searching for. She was pleased with the "multiple use" tools. She has decided to keep it handy to where she can easily find it for little repair jobs....I still have the bigger ones given to me. Thus, though ordering was difficult, the final product was worth it.

I purchased this set in December 2003, and have never regretted it! As others have said, the tool sizes are great for smaller hands, and having every item in its own spot makes it easy to see if someone has borrowed something. This tool kit is frequently used, and nothing yet needs replacing. If you're considering a tool kit of your own, BUY THIS!

I've been giving them away as wedding gifts. Practical and useful for a new household. Better than another set of towels or a toaster.

I was looking for a tool set that I could have as mine, my husband is a mechanic and trying to use his tools is a nightmare. So I wanted my own set, but I wanted something that he would not use and "missplace" to his tool box. I received these and Love them. They are the perfect size for a female hand and they are not to heavy to tire you out while your are using them around the house. The design is pretty inovative too. The only thing I wish was different was the case. Everything is laid out nicely, but you have to remove items first to get to some of the tools that you might need. Otherwise this set is wonderful. I liked it so much I went on to purchase the power drill and cordless screwdriver. Now I just have to figure out a way for my husband to leave them alone!!!!! It's about time someone had this idea for women!!!!!!!

This is the BEST tool set I have ever had, bar none. I love everything about it. It's compact, all of the tools fit my hands (which are quite small), the hammer is just the right weight and doesn't make my wrist hurt when I'm using it. The power screwdriver is a godsend. However, the interchangeable bits are a bit too short and I find them difficult to remove. If not for that, this would have gotten 5 stars. The carrying case is ingenious! It's light weight, compact, easily carried around, and satisfies those of us who like everything in it's place. Imagine, a magnetic measuring tape, and magnetic leveler. How cool is that? Barbara, thanks for designing this tool set for women who like to do our own work!

The tools are of good quality. I have aleady used them for several projects. It is sooo nice having my own tools, no more having to ask my husband where I can find a screw driver (or any other tool I may happen to need), since he likes to take everything we own to work with him and leave me with nothing. I figured if I got pink tools (there tools are not pink) or something feminine, he wouldn't touch them, it worked!

I like everything but tape measure seems a little chintzy, does not have a button to keep the tape from rolling back in, you have to hold with your thumb to keep tape extended.

Also, something other than allen wrenches would have been nice. How often does a woman use allen wrenches?

The pliers are nice, becase they are spring loaded, stay open till the are queezed, then spring back open.

Overall, very good, a little pricy, but I guess good tools are not cheap! I'm glad to have them.

I bought each of my daughters, in college, one of these for Christmas. They both have already found them very useful. One has put a desk together and hung blinds in her new apartment. The other took her's over to a friend's new apartment. She thought it was very convenient having all the tools you need in a nice little carrying case. I have recommended this tool kit to friends of mine who have daughters getting ready for college.

This has become my default bridal shower gift. After two hours of opening towels, this girly toolbox elicits ooohs and ahhhs and "I want one" from guests

I received this kit as a gift, I politely listened to the giver extoll its virtures but was utterly perplexed why "girl tools" (in a pseudo barbie suitcase no less) were given to me since I already have a pretty advanced assortment of standard ones. But I'm totally smitten now and Baraba K has become my go to girl for small jobs- which honestly is most of what I do. Part of the genius of this kit is the items contained it in have a really hard time walking away since their little empty spaces are a dead give away that I'm not finished cleaning up my project (I wish my rolling tool box knew that trick). All the tools are really comfortable and pretty cleaver, the level especially. As it turned out, It was an awesome gift, I've thanked the giver multiple times since the original note and I plan on giving Barbara K to my friends when they get their own places.

This is a great kit for doing any job around the house. Nice and light weight and the products are very well made!
