A good red if you like sadisim,

An interesting story set in the time of the barbary pirates. It is not great writing but does give an insight into slave holding and the means usd to force captive women into submision. Some of the most intense scenes involve an English woman and her daughter who are enslaved and forced to witness each others humiliation and rape. Interseting, but not for the Squeamish.
