I discovered Patrick Mahoney while doing research for a college term paper. "Escape Into the Psychic Kingdom" was the book I read. I was delighted to find "Barbed Wit and Malicious Humour" to be along the same lines as the rest of his (Mr. Mahony's) work. Probably too deeply analytical for the masses, but nonetheless absolutely enjoyable for those of us blessed with the ability to look at our own naked minds and accept ourselves for what we are. The author has the timeless ability to make the reader understand that, beneath it all, we really are all the same. The spirit using the physical human vessel as merely a form of current transport and/or dwelling is the theme as is typical of Mahony's work. For those who like to surf the inner mind, this (like the rest of Mahony's work) is sure to satisfy and enrich. Patrick Mahony was WAY ahead of his time. Even if he were just born today, he would still be ahead of his time. Treat your mind. Read his books. |
