Several years ago Panasonic changed their trimmer's engineering
which severely downgraded the ability to cut close. This Neat Nose
trimmer is higher rpm , cheaper , and cuts very close compared to
what Panasonic sells today at a higher price. I bought several for different
homes and several bathrooms. A great buy.

This is the only device of this type that I have ever owned; so, I can'r compare this to any other product. It does what it needs to do, but the construction is poor. From the start, it has been a battle to keep the battery cover in place. It is almost entirely made up of cheap plastic; and, I do not expect it to last more than a year, if that long.

Incredibly cheaply made item. Very poor fit & finish. Very strong plastic odor. Battery compartment does not stay closed when in use.
