I was skeptical when I bought this for my daughter.... I mean how well can the horse really WALK????? I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! If you keep it on a hard surface (no plush carpet) it walks and whinnys all over! Barbie actually stays sitting on the horse too, which was another one of my worries, thinking it would get terribly frusterating for her if Barbie kept falling off. Over all, she was super excited, I was pleased it worked so well. Definetly a good purchase for your Barbie lover.

The horse looks really neat when it walks, although the doll does not stay on very well. My only complaint is that the horse stops frequently to whinny. It would be nice if there could be an option to make the horse just walk without stopping.

My family got the biggest kick out of this toy. My 32 yr old sister wants one for her birthday. The horse is amazing. It trots and neighs for quite a distance on the floor. A child (of any age) can have fun with their imagination with this toy. I highly recommend it.

This horse and rider is a darling set. Barbie is fashioned so that she moves in multiple directions so to fit the horse better (and not fall off!) This is nice for use with dollhouse and Barbie car too. Horse works well--best on smooth floors with a good length of space as the horse only moves forward straight (it's not remote control) and it clops and neighs (neighs a bit too much though:)
My six-year old likes it--it is like her Barbie Horse computer game that she loves a lot! Buy this--it is a fabulous buy at $22. Enjoy !

My girls (7 & 5) loved this for a couple of months, then some hair (I think) from the horse's tail got caught in one of the back legs and now it just makes a real loud annoying clicking noise and doesn't walk anymore. They're still having fun just making it move by hand, but it isn't quite the same. They liked the neighing, too.

I just bought this toy for my niece. She a girl after my own heart and LOVES horses. I haven't given this to her yet, since Christmas is still a few days away, but I know she'll love it. However, I just wanted to point out that I purchased this toy from Toys 'R Us on Black Friday. The sale price was $[...]!! Even the original price wasn't bad at $[...]. If you're looking to purchase this, I would suggest shopping around.

This birthday gift for my granddaughter was a total success. She carries it with her everywhere-even to bed. It's a beautiful horse and all her Barbies love it. She is 4 and loves riding.

My 6 year old daughter loves this horse and accompanying Barbie doll. It clops along nicely. Haven't had experience with it falling over. Have had it for almost a year now and is still going strong - although the novelty has worn off and she doesn't play with it all the time.

My daughter received this toy. She really liked it.. for about the two minutes that it worked. Went through the exchange process. They said it was not in stock (the status of which changes daily) and issued me a refund worth half of it instead.

This was a great gift for my daughter! The Barbie horse really walks and Barbie does not fall off while riding the horse. I couldn't beat the price either. It was half the price what I would have paid at Toys R Us.
