Great Reproduction Barbie Case!
This case is just like some of the ones I used to have as a child. The weight of the vinyl may be lighter, etc...but, it has that "vinyl" smell and feel of all the old Barbie cases. Glad to get something I can look at, as well as use. Can't really put a value on the educational ability of a Barbie case, hence the one star, but education...

A lot of money for what you get
This was a disappointment and, if it hadn't been a gift for Christmas, I would have returned it. It's reasonably well made - the interior hanger is metal and seems like it will hold up well. However, inside is an open box insert - I recall my doll case as having drawer inserts - not just an open cardboard box. Put something in it and it will end up all over the inside...

Wish there had been interior descriptions. This item is very expensive for what you get. I'm in the process of making sliding drawers for the box so this case is of some use to the child who wanted this for Christmas. So, unless you're getting this to add to a Barbie collection and are only expecting something that "looks like" what you may recall from 50 years ago, pass it up. Not worth the money.

Glad to get something I can look at, as well as use. Can't really put a value on the educational ability of a Barbie case, hence the one star, but education comes in many forms for young and old alike. The nostalgia is what really counts! |
