Our granddaughter, Samantha, on her ninth birthday party, opened one of her birthday presents that contained the Barbie Adjustible Quad Skates and was thrilled beyond words. What a pleasure to see our young Samantha so happy. Needless to say, the skates had to be fitted at once! A very happy child with a high-quality item. (There she goes again.)

These Barbie Skates are great and wonderful for a first time skater new to the world of skating. The wheels aren't worn down like those in a skating rink. So my daughter was able to feel confident about her ability to skate as a new skater. Her confidence consistently increased every time she wore the skates because the comfort and support of the shoe portion of the skates, the strapped in feeling she received from the straps, and the sturdy-yet-still, fully functional wheels as she learned to control her balance on the skates.

All these wonderful things about the skates helped my daughter to learn how to balance and control her balance while standing and roller-skating. Helped her self-confidence because she felt like she had accomplished something great--that all the other kids already seemed to have mastered.

These Barbie skates really are a great pair of "starter" skates that have the added bonus of growing with your child because they are adjustable. I would definitely recommend this product to all mom's and dad's for their special little girls.

Very easy to put on and take off, attractive colors for the kids,smooth wheel motion and the best part... adjustable to a few shoe sizes to cut the cost of being new every year or so.

Wheels don't turn well. Fasteners and bindings are rigid and need an adult to fasten for the child.

Child complained that the stopper was too close to the ground.
