These fashions were very nice but so hard to get on and off but Barbie is a small doll so what are you going to do? Each of the dresses looked great on Barbie and my granddaughters just loved them. My only complaint is...make these packages easier to get the products out of. I spent close to 15 minutes cutting tape and strings and unwinding wires to get these things out of package.

This was purchased for 8 year old grandchild. She loves Barbie stuff. As with all Barbie clothes, pieces are small and a little difficult to put on doll. Shoes are easily lost due to small size. But, when a little girl likes it, plays with it for hours, then I am happy to buy it.

This is a nice set in that it has complete dresses and not mix and match pieces that get lost easily. The material for the dresses is on the thin side (even for Barbie Standards), but the outfits are at least not as tacky as some that Mattel has put out this year. One thing I don't like is that the designs on the front never continue to the back (you can't see that when they are in the box, of course). The gold dress in this set, for example, has the belt and tie on the front - but the belt and tie stop at the side seams and the back is plain.

I'm rating this a 4 star because this is a classier set than many of the alternative fashion sets this year.
