Fans of DC Comics will want to add this "Black Label Barbie" to their collections. The adult fans, anyway. As the box states, The Black Label Barbies are "Sensational dolls designed for the adult collector." Not that this Black Canary Barbie is really offensive, but obviously some parents wouldn't want their young girls playing with a Barbie dressed in fishnets. For the record, the recommended age rating on the box is 14+

I happen to be an adult fan of comics, so this one is perfect for me. I actually can't attest to the true durability of this specific doll as it went straight to the shelves in its box, but hey, it's Barbie -- by now we all know how well they hold up. Of course, I'm also assuming that many others will also be buying it for its collectible factor and yes, it'll hold up well so long as you handle the box with care -- that plastic will show scratches easily as it is just a plastic box with a cardboard backing.

As for the back of the box, it gives you Black Canary's life story, in quick paragraph format.

The front of the box has the Black Canary words as a cardboard cutout firmly attached to the plastic.

The doll itself looks just as it's represented in the pictures on Amazon.

Looks nice and is in a solid box. Outfit is really good and looks just like the Black Canary.
