Barbie CD Radio Boombox with Microphone

I wanted a Karaoke/CD player for my little girl so she and I could sing together. It is definitely NOT worth the hefty price. The sound is okay, but the microphone doesn't work very well. I have to put my lips directly on the mic to hear anything at all. Don't waste your money.

I got this boombox for my 3 year old girl because she loves to sing along with songs. It works fairly well, but it isn't as crisp as I wish it would be for the pricetag. The only minor problem I have with it is that the power cord on the back keeps falling off with too much movement. Other than that, she loves it and so far is worth the money for that reason.

My daughter loves to play her CD's on this...got this when she was just 4. She insisted on having a microphone. Of course it isn't the best quality microphone, but I was surprised that it works well enough to hear anyone singing with it (including me)! I couldn't find a regular (non-Barbie) CD-player with a microphone, so I bought this (with a $10 off coupon, which made it more bearable). We've been pleased. Only complaint, as the other reviewer stated, is that the cord occasionally falls out or comes loose in the back..but is corrected easily.

This is a great little boombox. It is easy to operate, and the microphone adds lots of fun to it! We have had this boombox for a year with no problems. My daughter has enjoyed it.

Gave this to my 7 year old for her birthday. It takes up little room, which is nice. Sound is OK- not great - but fine for a child. Microphone is terrible.
