I love this summer doll! she is so pretty, with her thick red hair, and beautiful eyes! i LOVE her clothes! She's a REAL cali girl ;)

This doll has a very nice face and good hair. Her expression is good, too. I like her outfit although the bottom is a bit skimpy, but I can put her in capri pants sometimes so that is okay. She also looks pretty good if you put her in the Cali Girl Beach Convertible and put her surfboard in the back. I don't get tan and she is so that is also good. If you like Cali Girls you will like this doll and she's not overly expensive either.

Once again, Barbie has proven that she is at the forefront of young girls' lifestyles and trends. This Barbie California Girl Summer doll is great for young girls. Summer comes with a stand, sunglasses, SPF 45 sunblock, painted toenails and a cardboard surfboard. Also, this doll smells like the cocoa butter type sunblock that most folks use these days. Her clothes look really great and this was one of the first Barbie dolls that my daughter actually wanted to keep the same clothes on.

This doll shows young girls that you can be a surfer no matter if you're a boy or a girl. Although the clothes are a little on the skimpy side(it's summertime anyway, right?), the dolls are still dressed up a lot more respectably than the "Bratz" line of toys.

Keep Barbie as a first choice for your daughters. I know she'll be the first choice for mine.

I think that this doll is cool and fun.

But in terms of educational purposes, it is definetly below 0.

I think that this toy is sold at a good value.

But i, personnally, think that it should at least have something educational about it. The only thing educational, well a little bit, is teaching you to dress up a doll.
