I highly recommend buying this playset for the toilet. The packaging offers a try before you buy so visit your local toy store and check it out for yourself.

This is a really cute Barbie playset. I bought this for my 2-year-old daughter who was trying to master using the potty. It was her first Barbie. When you flush the toilet it flips a small disc over inside the potty, one side has "poo" and the other has a clean-water look. Kids got a kick out of that. My daughter said Barbie was mama and that Kelly was her. She also puts Barbie and Kelly inside her Barbie convertible car and drives them around, again saying it's mama and baby. Adorable. I have saved all the pieces and will use it inside a dollhouse that I got for her 3rd birthday.

If you are buying this for a child under 3, I recommend putting the small pieces aside (the toilet paper and the shampoo bottles) even if your child doesn't put things in their mouth. She will lose them.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter because it came with a younger doll. Before we opened it and took everything out of the box I thought the toilet only flushed. Oh my! It sings too and it looks like a child actually went potty in the toilet. My two year old loves putting the girl on the toilet. I am hoping it could actually help to convince her to use the potty since she is still in diapers. My only real complaint is all the small parts that my one year old boy could choke on. I've had to basically take them away so they don't end up all over the floor. Overall I am happy with my choice. I even kind of wish I had gotten it for my 4 year old as well instead of the newborn baby doctor set I bought her.

My granddaughter loved her new Barbie play set that I gave her for her birthday. The set worked well with her dollhouse. And the toilet actually makes a "flushing" sound. This is a great toy to role play the responsibilities of caring for a younger sibling/child.

Is no one else disturbed that these Barbie "I Can Be" dolls are all stereotypical jobs like "cooking teacher", "baby caregiver", and "bride"? In the one where she is a doctor, she has to come along with Ken and only he is wearing scrubs, she is in a mini skirt! Why is there no science teacher Barbie, or engineer Barbie? Mattel, this is awful, teaching young girls that their career options are limited to things dealing with small children and mini skirts.
