Four fairy tales are retold: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, and Rapunzel. Cinderella has 25 paragraphs; Sleeping Beauty, 19 paragraphs; Beauty and the Beast, 35 paragraphs, and Rapunzel, 20 paragraphs. This hardback can probably be self-read by a child 8 to 10 years old. The book is vividly illustrated with costume-decked Barbie figurines applicable to each of the four classic stories.
