They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, but these Morticia and Gomez Addams dolls are certainly not altogether ooky. In fact, they're probably destined to be coveted collector's items. The Morticia Barbie doll comes with a low-cut, form-fitting black gown that fans out like shredded tentacles at the hem. Her soft, swirling black hair floats down to her hips. The Gomez Ken doll has the same slicked-back hair, neatly trimmed mustache, and black eyeliner as his television and movie counterparts. His heavily padded, pinstripe suit is fully removable--it even has classy built-in snaps instead of Velcro. Unfortunately, Morticia's dress cannot be removed--a definite disappointment for younger Barbie fans who will undoubtedly want to dress this exotic beauty in other gowns. --Hannah Reynolds

These are two of the finest dolls ever produced by Mattel. Morticia (Barbie) has beautiful black hair with dark brown strands here and there. She wears the signature black dress with "octopus" hem, black stilettoes that won't stay on her feet, and beautiful ruby-red lipstick. She tops off with an exquisite ruby necklace hanging from a detailed gold chain and a coordinating, oversize ring. Her arms are molded to stay in the signature pose, she even has the red extended fingernails! Gomez (Ken) is also a work of art! His face is even detailed with the lines and creases in his forehead and cheeks, and, of course the moustache. He is wearing a the perfectly detailed pinstripe suit with a silk lining. His hair (Not the cheap molded plastic stuff, it's REAL!) has multi-color streaks, he even has a little pocket watch and silk tie.

THIS IS A VERY NICE DOLL SET AND A VERY GOOD LIKENESS OF BOTH MORTICIA AND GOMEZ ADAMS. I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING THE PREVIOUS REVEIWER SAID ABOUT THE DOLLS' FEATURES AND OUTFITS BEING SO ACCURATE AND DETIALED. THE ADDAMS FAMILY IS A CLASSIC AND SO ARE BARBIE AND KEN. THIS IS THE NICEST BARBIE & KEN SET MODELED AFTER T.V. CHARACTERS I HAVE SEEN SINCE THE SCULLY & MULDER X-FILES SET. IT IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! NOW IF THE PRICE WOULD JUST COME DOWN SOME I MIGHT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING IT! 5 BIG STARS! MORTICIA AND GOMEZ ROCK!!!!

When I saw this set at KB toys(years and years ago) I had to buy it. It was on mark down for $25.99 and I snatched it right up! I'm glad I did. Although the box had some minor damage I couldn't let it go. The dolls are very nice looking. Do I wish I could open the box and touch them? Yes! But I don't. It's still unopened. Great buy for me!!
