Wearing traditional Bavarian-inspired costumes, this precious Hansel and Gretel set captures the essence of the classic children's story, completely down to the lederhosen. Gretel is wearing a red dirndl dress over blue tights. Red flowers delicately trim the shoulder straps and a "hardship" patch accents the white apron. Two beautiful golden braids spill out from underneath a matching red scarf. Hansel's soft brown lederhosen is matched by a brown cap complete with a feather stuck in the side. Each figure of this diminutive set measures approximately 4.5 inches high. A basket containing two loaves of bread can be propped on either figure. --Diane Tuman
