This delightful doll recreates the character of the Tin Man--played so wonderfully by Jack Haley--in the beloved movie THE WIZARD OF OZ. Using the Ken mold as a basis, the head sculpt features brilliant blue eyes, "steel rivets" near his ears, plus the trademark funnel hat (which is molded on and cannot be removed).

He's dressed in a silver fabric bodysuit, which shimmers in a way which evokes the movie's bold Technicolor textures. Carrying his axe and oil-can (mustn't get rusty!), he also proudly wears the red clockwork heart awarded to him by the Wizard.

The doll looks absolutely smashing displayed in the original windowbox; but for those collectors who'd like to display him, there's a dollstand included. However, if you do wish to de-box him, I'd be careful about keeping him in a place that's dusted frequently, because the silver costume would surely spoil over time. A delightful doll for OZ and Pink Box collectors.

The Tin Man barbie from the Wizard of Oz is a wonderful addition to our Barbie collection. My daughter is 7 years old and has watched the movie again and again and loves to have the Barbies displayed in her room(she now has 7 of them from the movie). It has been great to get these as gifts for her birthday, Christmas(we got her Dorothy last year) and Easter. It is a great rendition of the Tin Man from the movie and we love that he comes with his Heart.
