Barbie Collector Build-A-Bear Workshop Barbie Doll

This is a great Barbie. I bought two of these, one for my daughter and one for a friend's daughter. The bear is a little difficult to get dressed because the clothes are so tiny (HINT: Use tweezers). It's a great doll though.

A big hit with the 8-year old birthday girl, the daughter of a friend of mine, this Barbie is cuter than most in the collector series. The clothes on Barbie are removable (because 8 year olds love to undress and undress their dolls---but usually leave them lying around naked), and so are the clothes for the bear.

This doll seems more "playable" and durable to me than the others in the collector series.

The tiny bear comes with its own little build-a-bear box and clothes, and is sized just right for Barbie. Smaller kids will have difficulty with the small size of the clothing, and with stuffing and putting together the bear, so mom or dad may need to help out with that.

Not having bought a Barbie before, I thought all the dolls and clothing sets were pricey. I never had a Barbie when I was a little girl, and now only have a son---so while I am fluent in Lego, I am not conversant at all in doll. It eludes me.

But the little girl we gave it to seems to love her. It's a very cute, and I hope very lovable, gift.
