Having gone through the Nutcrackers, they have moved on to Shakespeare's heroines. Barbie as Juliet is simply gorgeous. The black haired Barbie's are very rare, so this is an extra plus to collectors. Romantic and perfectly lovely, the dolls portrays the poignancy of Juliet's star-crossed love.

The costume has a fitted bodice. The skirt is overlaid with gold chiffon. Golden cording also highlights the bodice and sleeves. It's repeated with a gold ribbon through her long dark hair. Delicate pink "toe" shoes complete the classic costume.

As a former ballet dancers, I appreciate the care they are using in fashioning the toes shoes to look real.

Gorgeous doll, a must for those collecting the ballerinas, a must for those seeking the rare black haired ones.

Having been a Barbie Doll Collector for 10 years now, I cannot imagine anyone seeing this doll and not believing that finally Mattel has gone back to the roots of feminine beauty in its purest form. She doesn't have the glamour of Mackie's Goddess of the Arctic or the sexy Diva Collection.... but what this doll does have is a sense of innocence and a hauntingly angelic face. The photographs simply do not do her proper justice. I purchased 2 after I personally saw her: the face of an angel, the wonderfully feminine gown, and gorgeous deep brown hair make her worth purchasing

I've never seen such a natural looking faced Barbie like this. She has so natural and pure angelic face. Real eyelashes is the first thing I saw in a barbie. You will love her..

This doll has such a classic beauty about her. When I first saw pictures of her, she didn't seem like anything special, but seeing her in person changed my mind. She's just pure beauty. Her makeup is simple yet beautiful and I could imagine her dancing in a ballet. Her dress is classic and elegant. I recommend this Barbie to anyone who wants a classy, beautiful doll!

Why is it that whenever there is a kids review bad language and negativity is used. Hey some of the reviews have nothing to do with dolls. For that sexist girl, keep your personal comments to yourself, yeah and you are dumb. it is the 21st century everybody has there own opinion, no matter how ignorant they may be. i don't even believe that that girl putting other females down, was a girl i think it was a sick boy who has been brainwashed into not valuing how powerful that girls of today are. this is what the juliet doll demonstrates, her beauty is so powerful that most doll collecters love her, i for one, do. she shows that girls can do whatever, Sport or not. and she is classy, respectable and well made. i have to get this doll on my shelf.

I am vary happy with this barbie doll, she is just lovley she would be a good gift for an older girl or a doll collector.

This doll is very pretty, I like the fact that she has dark hair instead of the typical blonde. The dress is just lovely! The shoes and the molded feet are cute too.

This doll is simply great. I love the hair, the color looks quite like my haircolor. She's going to be the first one in my Barbie collection (That means I haven't purchased the doll yet. But I will, very soon.).

My daughter (6) called this "the most beautiful doll that I have ever seen!". She does ballet and this doll really is gorgeous. We did buy her however when she was on sale for $14.99.

The dolls ae almost great. Except for the bending scar on their boxes.
