The Princess Dolls of the World are beautifully designed and are another well-done version of colorfully-costumed dolls for one of the long-standing collector's series (DOTW) that Mattel Barbie has offered over recent decades. Pacific Princess is a highlight in the Princesses of the World collection.

I found this doll a nice addition to the collection. They all mimic the orginal outfits of the country very well.

I was very pleased with my purchase. The barbie was brand new and the price was great.

This doll is really lovely. She is dressed beautifully!
We really like this doll-she is a elegant representative of the Pacific Islander-thank godness, the print of the dress isn't some chessey tourist looking print!

Being a Pacific Islander myself, I am ecstatic that they came out with this doll! I bought it when it came out and I agree with a previous poster and am glad that she doesn't have a cheesy, touristy-looking flowered dress on or (like the Polynesian Barbie that had previously been released) have one of those grass skirts on. The flowers she is wearing are also very well-done, and the doll herself is gorgeous. Overall I am very happy with it.

I bought this doll to complement my Diwali Festivals of the World Barbie doll, she has instantly become one of my favourites, the beautiful flowers on her dress and the beautiful blue colors just spells out "Paradise", her skin tone is a beautiful dark brown typical of a true Polynesian Girl, lastly her face and her big brown eyes is just so beautiful and serene. I also have the DOTW Hawaii from 1996 and this one is just way better! She comes with collectors card and Certificate of Authenticity.

This is a beautiful doll but don't order it. I can't get anyone on the website to correct the postage. The weight has a typo. It says 7 pounds instead of 7 ounces. That makes the shipping about 5.00 higher than it should be.

As a Barbie collector, I had to have the Princess of the Pacific Islands as a reminder of my trip to Hawaii. The doll is as beautiful in person as she was in the pictures I saw of her, making me want to add her to my collection.

I bought this doll from a Barbie Catalog I got in the mail. When I recieved it. . . .I was sooo happy! She is a beautiful doll, with silky hair. (before u start playing w/ her) Her dress is so lovely. I love the colors, and it gives me this fantastic tropical Hawaiin feel!!! Considering that I am a Hawiian dancer, I especially love the look of this doll! She is lovely, and I think anyone should buy it!!!!!! I play with her all the time. They did a great job on her make up, and flower headpiece. She is not wearing shoes, but she does have a lei...and anklet!!

I have a troppical theme in it, I took branches from outside nailed them to the wall attached artificial vines with flowers attached to it and some craft moss the doll is displayed on a shelf, the theme works so good I get compliments all the time I really enjoy her prescence.
