Hi i'm simran and really admire this dolls work.My sister got this doll for xmas/birthday and she loves it I got got something too but I liked her's better,I got a barbie kichen set for my rather old barbies and bratz [not very old,the bratz]and I loved it! On amazon.com or toysrus.com she looks kind of ugly but now I think she's the most beutifull doll ever.Well i'm thinking of getting the Doll of the world ressiance of Italy barbie for my birthday!I would reccamend this doll to any collector.

Beautiful doll - it exceeded all my (and my daughter's) expectations, it's so much more gorgeous in person than pictured, none of the images I saw online do this absolutely stunning Barbie justice. My daughter and I were looking for (another) Barbie princess to add to her collection of dolls and we chose this doll because my daughter really liked the dress. The dress is, indeed, beautiful - a reproduction of (if I'm not mistaken) an early 17th century Western European royal court dress. With its white lace collar and cuffs, puff 3/4 sleeves, corset, full skirt, beautiful fabric, rich colors and golden embroidery all over it truly is a magnificent costume. And "pearl" necklace, earrings and bracelets that Barbie is wearing are just as beautiful. And the doll itself is so pretty, it's hard to tell by looking at the pictures of this doll online just how pretty she is - gorgeous face, beautiful hazel eyes, light red curls....I love that they didn't overdo her makeup the way they did with some other Barbie pincesses - this Barbie's makeup is soft, neutral and subtle and makes her look very pretty. Gorgeous doll, I think it'd be great both as a toy and as a collector's item - it would complement and enhance any collection, but could be also great for creative and imaginative play, not to mention a lot of fun to play with.
