this product is great.I bought it for my 2 year old 4 days ago and she has not stopped playing with it since. My 7 year old can not stay away from the thing either! The sound is VERY clear, and it seems to be quite durable. It may even be around when my 6 month old is ready to play with it.As for the price I did shop around and got it for about 30 dollars less. Love this toy!

I thought this was the perfect kitchen when I saw it online. My five year old wants one very much, so I had Grandma order it. After seeing it in the toysrus I am taking it back. My daughter had to get on her knees to play with it. It is very small and not very practical. I will say it is built for a 2 year old but in the mind of a 5-12 yr old. A very smart kitchen, just not very well thought out.

This barbie kitchen has been great for our kid. It comes with an entire 'Thanksgiving dinner'. The food has microchips in the pieces that sense when they are placed onto the cooktop, or in the oven, or microwave. Barbie's voice comes on and helps the child 'cook' the food in the appropriate ways: "great, you chose to cook the broccoli. Set the timer to 15 and press start." We also bought two sets of extra food that included pizza, raviolis, garlic bread, cheeseburgers, fries, watermelon, katsup, mustard, and a bunch of other things. This toy has been used for many, many hours, and is still going strong. Other reviewers have mentioned it's low height. I suspect our girl will grow out of it in several years. But she is thrilled to get involved with cooking and have so many ways to cook things. If you can afford this toy, get it. [...] And, if you're lucky enough to find the accessory sets, get those, too. [...] Thanks for reading this review!
