Melody is getting lots of love here in our ouse of girls!! One of her legs came off, but we did put it back on... she was bought used too, so perhaps it was not due to the manufacturer but previous owner that it happened. She arrived in impeccable condition though, so I know she was not roughed up at all, so I gave her 3 stars for durability. Our Melody doll we bought new is still intact w/out any injuries, so who knows. Just wanted to mention it though. Also, BOTH dolls had their necklaces that the doll wears break in seconds... they are so thin & it seems almost like they were dry rotted, if that is possible?!?! Anyway, lots of fun w/Melody =)!!

My daughter loved this doll. She played with it every day. The necklace broke right out of the box. The head snapped off after a couple of weeks of play. My daughter was not rough with it. She wants another one for Christmas. I really do not want to spend the money and am trying to talk her into something else
