I bought this for my daughter for her 15th birthday. She is a HUGE elmo fan and since we are African-American I thought it was cute to have a little "black" girl doll that love elmo as much as my daughter. It was a huge hit and she LOVED it...

This doll is a nice addition to any girl's collection. I just love her hair. It is also a good doll for a first barbie because there is no need to comb her hair and therefor there is no mess. I'm very happy with the purchase. Typical barbie, beautiful face, nice outfit (short skirt), and I like the fact that Elmo works and really laughs like the real thing.

My daughter just started to notice that not everyone is the same color as her. To teach her that color just makes the world a prettier place I started to get ethnic dolls for her to play with also. The doll is beautiful and it's turning out to be one of her favorites. She loves the fact that elmo giggles and that barbie has a matching shirt. So far it's held up to the play of a two year old wonderfully, not to mention a 4 yr old brother, and a 8 mo. old sister.

I bought this just for the Elmo toy included. I was looking to replace a bigger plush singing Elmo when I came upon this. I collect Elmos. The little Elmo toy is so cute. It fits in the palm of your hand and laughs when you tickle him, just like the big version. I gave the Barbie to a friend as a photo prop. lol Her outfit is cool if children like Barbie and Elmo, I would buy this for them.
