I luv Summer! She is the newest member of the Barbie family! In the picture, she doesn't look too good....but, in real-life, shes great!!
Trust me.................you won't regret buying her!
She is sooo cool!

My daughter is 5 and was ecstatic to get this doll. There was NO WAY she could pierce this doll's ears herself- it took me 25 minutes to do it. My daughter lost interest in the process. Cali girl is cool but the ear piercing is not!

Summer is a gorgeous doll. Her hair is unlike any other barbie hair i have felt before: it is fine and silky. It is also crimped, and streaked with copper, and very shiny. Her face is very pretty and realistic. Her clothes I also like. She comes with a khaki halter top with a hawaiian flower applique on it, stone coloured shorts which come to just below her knees, and a really cool cream cardi with nice knitted detail which doesn't come up in the Amazon photo. She also wears green slip-on sneakers.
The ear-piercing idea is a good one in my opinion, and it has been carried out well. The ear piercer is simple to use and she comes with a vast assortment of earrings, both studa and dangles. The reason I give this product a 4 for durability is because the earrings themselves are thin plastic and coould snap if roughly handled. They sometimes bend a little when pushing them into the piercer, but if careful, you can easily avoid them breaking.
Summer also comes with a sturdy plastic stool as pictured. All in all this is a great doll and really fun. She also has the newer body structure which was first featured in the 'Jewel girl' barbies.

My grandaughters loved their gift, however it has to be for girls that are a little bit older because of all the small pieces.

Although Summer comes with an ear piercing kit, don't give it to your child without first piercing the ears for the earring changes. I use a seam ripper to puncture the plastic and clean out a large enough hole for dolly earrings.

She is a fun teenage doll with flat feet for tennis shoes and going barefoot. Cali Girls and Boys are casual and cute.

The price range makes this an excellent toy for a child who will find it fun to change earrings and clothes on her new dolly.

I like this toy and the consept, but I don't like how they did it they could have made it 15more dollers and made it fantasitic. They could have had it come with a building with a table in a square with a pull up half size door and a leather chair and made a mom and kid come with it and have prizes for the child (a lolipop, or and small teddy). It could have made them more money, because then they could make some of there other cali girls be able to be pieced. I think they could have make this toy better, but I still love it and I think you would too!!!

this doll looks like a monster when i first bought her.I tell you she looks worst than a wolfman barbie look than her.she ungly don't buy her.buy her or you will have nightmares about her unglyness.
