Having read the other collector's encyclopedia's written by this author, this one is also a beautiful collection of the Barbie doll's one may want to know about and/or collect. The pictures are well done and the descriptions very clear and understandable. At a book store, before even my first purchase of these books, I skimmed other books stating they had what I was looking for, but none compared to Michael J. Augustyniak's. Through his books, I have been able to purchase Barbies at what I know is a fair and good price for my own collection. Very good resource book. Highly recommended.

The Collector's Encyclopedia Of Barbie Doll Exclusives is a great reference to the value of different types of Barbies. I was a little dissapointed that the Holiday Barbies and Bob Mackie Barbies are not listed in the book but I was pleased, otherwise. I would recommend this book.

What an excellent resource. We had three generations reading every page about their favorite Barbies and we all learned so much.

Excellent Reference Book for Modern Barbie Doll Collectors.

This is the third of the Collector's Encyclopedias I own, each one is invaluable to me when recording information for my doll collection, although the dolls are under valued in this book, a great reference for the Barbie Collector.

I'm glad I got this book. Although this only shows the dolls sold exclusively to stores, I don't need to see every Barbie ever produced because too often Mattel is just selling the same old dolls in different outfits. Boys get so much more attention to detail in their action figures and playsets.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE NEXT BOOK LISTED A LITTLE DIFFERENT. THE ONE BOOK IS ONLY STORE EXCLUSIVES. THE 2008 BOOK IS ALMOST HOW I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE BUT IT IS MISSING BARBIES FROM STORE EXCLUSIVES AND OTHER DOLLS. I THINK THE NEXT BOOK SHOULD CARRY ALL OF THE DOLLS IN ONE BOOK! THIS BOOK REPRESENTS THE STORE EXCLUSIVES ONLY. WHICH MEANS WHAT EVER DOLL SOLD AT TOYS-R-US ONLY OR TARGET, ECT. BUT ANOTHER BOOK HAD THE SAME DOLL IN EACH OF THEM? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW IN ONE BOOK IT CAN BE A STORE EXCLUSIVE, THE NEXT BOOK IT MIGHT BE A DESIGNER ONLY DOLL AND THEN IT IS NOT IN THE OTHER BOOK AT ALL. OTHER THAN THAT MIKE'S BOOKS ARE AWESOME WHERE HE GETS SOME OF HIS PRICING IS BEYOND ME? ONE YEAR THE DOLL'S VALUE IS $100.00 AND THE NEXT YEAR HE HAS THE DOLL AT $55.00? ALSO HE IS MISSING A FEW DOLLS IN SOME OF HIS BOOKS AND THEN THEY ARE PLACED IN THE NEXT BOOK ISSUED? WHY??? I HOPE HIS 2009 BOOK WILL BE THE GREATEST ONE TO COME YET. I WAS HOPING IT WAS ON LINE NOW, BUT I GUESS IT WILL BE PUT ON LATER. KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP MIKE. SEE YOU AT THE CONVENTION.
