5.0 out of 5 stars Very Preaty Doll
I want to start my review by saying that this picture does not give the doll justice. If you want a good picture go to barbie.com. I think this doll is very preaty and I love her outfit and blue hair. The one thing I whould change is her legs, I don't like how the design is painted on,if it was tights I whould not mind. I whould like to add that I am 12 years old and I...

This Fairy is horrible. The "wings" are nothing more than a piece of plastic film that they spray painted some glitter onto. The wings aren't even actually attached to the doll... they are stuck into the back of her dress by a plastic strip. A 5-year-old could make better Fairy wings. The head is over-sized and has an ugly face sculpt compaired to all the other...

I want to start my review by saying that this picture does not give the doll justice. If you want a good picture go to barbie.com. I think this doll is very preaty and I love her outfit and blue hair. The one thing I whould change is her legs, I don't like how the design is painted on,if it was tights I whould not mind. I whould like to add that I am 12 years old and I still love my barbies and I think this doll would make a fine addition to any collection.

Hope this helped.

Azura is very pretty. I wish her wings would light up, but still, she is extremely beautiful and so cool.

I may be biased I am a fairy fan.
My daughter recieved this for Xmas and I think it is cute!!
HEr hair is a bit weird because it is hard, like over hairsprayed BUT IMO that is actually a bonus to save it from the normal ratty barbie hair in a few months...
Her dress is adorable, I LOVE the shoes!!!!!
ANd IMO her wings are PERFECT and it was a smart design to attach them to the clothes so the kids wont break them off as easy. (FYI Disney store's fairies are designed the same way, for those that liked this doll) Wings IMO should be light, airy and dainty. Not hard, gaudy, illogical.
I also totally appreciate that her "tights" are actually painted on her legs!! I am a bit anal about not wanting to lose clothing or having kids destroy items trying to dress and undress them.
My daughter has not really gotten onto the barbies yet, thanfully for me, but I am really digging the fairtopia barbies after this doll!!

This line of Barbie dolls is the BEST ever. Mattel is getting more and more creative but the real reason why i like these dolls is that they don't have the "barbie-ish" kinda look (notice the typical barbie--their eyes have some sort of unexplainable typical barbie eyes) but these dolls aren't the same. They really have the fairy look on them and they are just SOOOOOOOO lovely! I already have The Enchantress and i can't wait to get Azura next!

P.S. This is a MUST buy for all barbie collectors or fairy stuff collectors too! 5 STARS!! =)

Azura was not the best doll ever, but she still makes me happy. Her tights are nice and her wings are nice and there is the right amount of gillter to look good and not to gilltry. Her dress is fine. But her hair can use a bit of working. But still she is a very, very, very, very nice doll.

Azura is very beautiful-her coloring is not overpowering at all-very nice soft shades of blue. Her hair is styled as are all Barbies-but it should stay that way (for a little while anyway)for my daughter to play with it. I recommend getting Azura for your little princess.

...I was a little unhappy to find that her bodice is plastic and appears to be cast onto her body. It would have been much better to have her entire outfit be made of cloth. This is a minor issue though. The doll is gorgeous, and she looks well made (I have not taken her out of the box). Of all of the Fairytopia dolls, this is one of my favorites, and she is probably one of the favorites in my vast Barbie collection too. A real winner!

My daughter collects the Barbie Fairytopia dolls along with some of the international Barbie dolls. The detail on the Fairytopia dolls make them a lovely addition.

This Fairy is horrible. The "wings" are nothing more than a piece of plastic film that they spray painted some glitter onto. The wings aren't even actually attached to the doll... they are stuck into the back of her dress by a plastic strip. A 5-year-old could make better Fairy wings. The head is over-sized and has an ugly face sculpt compaired to all the other Fairytopia dolls. The blue hair is cute, but stiff as plastic. The textured pattern on the b/l (bend legs) is a cheap way of getting out of giving her tights. The dress itself is poorly made, and really ugly up close. I thought Mattel was going in the right direction when they came out with the Wonder Fairies and the sprites and pixies... then they made the fiber-optic doll (the one from the movie)... then the weird light-up torso dolls (Jewelia & Chrystal?)... then this. This is just hideous. Don't waste your money. Pay attention to what the "under 13" reveiws are saying... this doll really is junk. Mattel, you blew it big time. I think Fairytopia is on it's way to the junk yard. :(
