Elina Fairytopia Barbie Doll is a beautiful fairy and the main character in the Fairytopia DVD movie (sold separately), but unlike her friends, she has no wings at first. Then she takes a journey to help her friends and defeats the evil Laverna, saving the flowers and Fairytopia. As a reward for her courage, she is granted the most beautiful wings of all the fairies, by the beautiful Enchantress. This doll is very pretty with cool light up wings. I am African American, and this is the closest to a Black doll we could find in this Barbie series. I would appreciate Mattel creating a true dark skinned African American Fairytopia doll as opposed to an "ethnic" one that they believe will cover several "Brown skinned" cultural groups.

Our 2 year old loves this and I love the fact that it is african-american color not blonde/blue eyes only- great idea to make one of each! It is very magical looking and fun and pretty durable. We like it alot!
