We purchased this for our 6 year old who by the way doesn't like barbie's but loves the fairy's. She has so much fun with it. It comes with a book a map and a tiny fairy. She likes it alot. At first when she got it she wasn't to sure but after she read the book it really got her into the fairy spirit.

I got this doll as a Christmas present from my grandpa and it's so pretty! I love her eyelashs and her wings! This is the funnest and most beautiful barbie I own!

This doll is a real beauty. I have two daughters (2 and 5 years old), who both love all the Barbie fairies. Joybell is, I think, the loveliest of them all. My daughters got her a couple of weeks ago, and have not stopped playing with her since. The doll has a high educational value, not in the common meaning of the word, but in the way that it is creative and stimulates children's need for a fantasy world where everything is possible. My daughters have played with her in the garden among the flowers, where she is a real princess. The durability of this toy has yet to come to the test, but the fabric on one of her wings is already a little loose. -And I think it might be a problem to keep her clean, as I am afraid to get her wings wet, so maybe playing outside is not such a good idea. She comes with a small fairy, which should be kept away from small children, a beautiful little book with a simple story for the youngest children and a map of her imaginary world. This is a great toy; I wish I could have had such a doll when I was a child.

I got this doll a while ago and it is wondful! Don't listen to the people who say she is so gross and ugly! And that 'Jadey' person, I wouldn't listen to someone who pulls heads off dolls! And yes she is durable because barbie's heads aren't meant to be yanked off! She is one of my favorite dolls and I would reccomend to anyone!(unless they pull heads off dolls)

Ever since I got this doll I simply couldn't stand putting it down! This really sparked my imagination and the fun and games simply don't end! Adventures carry on and if I didn't have anything else to do, I sit and play with it all day! It's pretty durable, so I've been playing with it in outdoor surroundings. the wings are pretty fragile though.This toy increases imagination. but has almost no educational value.I think its a very amaing addition that the wings flap. I love pressing the button rappidly and making her "fly". The sprite that comes with it is also fun to play with. it's fun to have another fairy doll instead of pretending with normal dolls. More good additions are the map and book. The story in the book is interesting, one of the books you could read over and over again without getting tired of it. I love looking at the map and turning my room into fairtopia with all the landforms in the real one. I can't explain why, but I 've beleived in fairys ever since I got this doll. I had to come up with a resonable exclamation for myself, so here it is: The two blank pages they leave at the end of geologiical map books reseved for newly discovered ares are realy; fairy topia, land of fairy paridise.I life size and This doll is absolutely amazing, especially if you have a good imagination. Rated on a scale of one to ten, this doll is a fifteen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter is simply head-over-heals for Joybelle. She was actually gifted to my 3 yr old daughter by her grand-uncle in Pakistan (!!!) who bought the doll there for 5 TIMES THE PRICE!!! Hey, if everyone's happy, who am I to complain?! She is gorgeous! Almost spellbinding! Her eyes are hypnotic; I swear! It's not only me... several people have said that. Well ever since we've returned to the US, its been Fairytopia this, Mermaidia that! We have all the movies, most of the main characters... our latest addition is Elina... the one who's wings turn into a tail... its hilarious when my dd re-enacts the scene when the mermaids go into what she calls, "the deps of dispao!"

Overall I'm angry that people said that this toy is "Not fun to play with!"This toy is very durable,and pretty.People saying they're not durable is because they keep yanking heads and arms off!!!!Sometimes,Barbie dolls aren't just changing clothes,and combing hair!And besides,if you press the button on her back,the wings flap!!!Sometimes,you can make stories with different kinds of Barbies!Like what I did to my Barbies!Unlike others,I highly recomend this toy,it is NOT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!

I absolutely love this doll. Two years ago my parent's friend bought this for me, and the lenera one for my older sister. Immeadiately we opened them and started playing with them. my sister was mad because she wanted joybelle since lenera and kindlee aren't very pretty, so our parents bought her this one from walmart. i took the hair out, and i THOUGHT it would be all weird and sticky from the gel and have bald spots from the pigtails- but i was wrong! there is NO bald spots or gel or anything. the hair is silky and soft! my sis did the same thing and got the same results. these are our favorite dolls ever! i change the clothes alot and joybelle looks wonderful. she's highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Emma

WOW! I know it's 20$ (where I am),but it is soooo worth it! I have 5* for EVERYTHING! it is VERY fun, durable (nothing broke) AND it's educational, 'even if you different, your still beautiful!', also you can do way cool gair do's on her hair. This is a WONDERFUL DOLL, it may be a bit exspencive but it is sooo worth it! Btw, "the little baggy thing" is a "little story book" (along with a map, a cute little farie, AND a doll).

My daughter recieved this for Christemas. She is 5. She also has the playset from the fairytopia line. What a waste of money. The wings always fall off and the way they clip on makes it impossible to put other clothes on the doll. The other day she took off the clothes and put them on another barbie. Don't waste your 17.99.
