My daughter says she likes this doll because her hair is so smooth, unlike other Barbie's when they come out of the box.

The Drew FashionFever doll is one of the most beautiful doll in this Barbie series.
The face is more similar to the expensive collectors Barbie and the hair is very soft and silky. Very classy and the outfit is a mix of the orient and celebrity fashion. I highly recommend this doll to all Barbie collectors.

This Drew was my first Fashion Fever doll. When I saw the line had come out, I swore I would not buy them because I'd get hooked into the "gotta catch 'em all" frenzy! Well, my husband picked this doll for me because she has many attributes I love in a doll... deep auburn hair, a "calm" face sculpt (not that crazy wide-toothed grin *shudder*), awesome golden boots, and an Asian-inspired outfit that suits her perfectly! Needless to say, this one doll got me hooked on Fashion Fever... and Drew is by far my Favorite!
A great new addition to the "play-line" dolls, the tube container has a "clip stand" already enclosed, making it easy for kids from 5 to 105 to stand & pose the doll for hours of play or display. I think adding the doll stand (one that actually HOLDS the doll rather than those stupid cradle stands) was a brilliant step from Mattel.

Drew is one of the prettiest dolls I've seen from Mattel.
She has the slightly larger head and model's body, and comes in a clear oval display case. At this price, however, she is perfect for play, customizing, or display. Her outfit is well made, and the plastic red purse, gold bracelet and boots show that Mattel is taking care with their accessories again. Her ears are not pierced, so no extremely small parts to worry about with kids, but customizers can pierce should they desire. Her facial expression is kind; a gentle smile and compassionate eyes -- I don't know how Mattel created these expressions, but she comes across as a great Barbie. |
