While Barbie seemed to be assimilating quite nicely into the various environments assigned to her over the years - veterinarian's office, lifeguard chair, NASA-it's in a shopping mall that Ms. B truly seems in her element. And what a sizable and comprehensive mall this is. It sports a hair salon where the fashion-conscious plastic doll can get a complete makeover or just a light touch up, a shoe store with a musical shoe stand, a clothing boutique, and numerous other shops. There's even an ATM, which makes a lot of sense given all the shopping to be done. What makes the mall really fun, however, are the zillions of tiny accessories - shoes, flowers, brushes, combs, outfits, and many more details that will make for hours of fun at the mall. Barbie and other dolls are not included with this mall, but they can't wait to get there and do some shopping. --Charlie Williams

This is the coolest set i have ever seen. It comes with really cool accessories that would be in a REAL mall.

Every girl should have this set. It teaches kids what a real mall looks like. It teaches them how to purchese items like clothes and accessories.

Spend a day at the mall with Barbie, Theresa, Christie, summer, Kayla and Drew!

As an adult Barbie collector, I felt that this toy was a perfect addition to my collection. The Fashion Show Mall playset is so much fun to play with. My favorite thing is the rotating shoe display with lights and music (3 songs!) which will also hold a Barbie doll on a doll stand and the barbie dress form/mannequin display. The only thing I would recommend doing is to tell kids who play with it to put all of its small pieces in ziplock bags for storage (since there are over 100 accessories). The only thing I would have changed about it is I would make the railing on the top have a sturdy plastic frame with the clear blue plastic center, rather than blue plastic sheets that just clip onto the poles. It's a great toy if you're willing to take care of it and all of its parts.

Such a cool mall! have fun with your barbies. it is not cheaply made, when I dropped it there wasn't a dent and as for the pieces... find a bag for them of course! have so much fun with your barbie's!
