This is a good book for a 3-or 4-year old who is begining preschool. In this story, a little girl who will be starting preschool confronts her fears. She asks her stuffed animal, Rocky, what he thinks preschool will be like. These questions are the very questions that most young children worry about before their first day of school. Later in the book, her questions are answered as we follow her on her first day. The pictures are specific to the text, so the book is very easy for a young child to follow. My daughter is 3, and we have read this book many times together. I recommend it!

A charming book for a child that is starting preschool or kindergarten.This book gives a bit of confidence to the quivering child's starting school,making school sound like good fun(which it is,I know from experience)and making new friends sound like a first priority that is exciting(and is!).I have read this book many times(I have a copy)and enjoyed so much,all the way from the first time I read it,being very shaky,to the last time I read it with full confidence.The author,Jean Bay,is an excellent author and another book series I have enjoyed reading,also by Jean Bay,also a good series for those who are just starting their academic life,is titled,"\
My Feelings Series".Both book and book series are excellent for young school-starters.

A nice book to prepare toddler's for preschool. It covers most of the major fears, but keeps an upbeat attitude.
