My daughter actually wanted this toy so badly that she saved up the money to purchase it herself......not bad considering she's only 7 years old. I think it's great. It keeps her busy and she loves it. Her 3 year old sister even has fun just watching her with it and listening to the music. The only thing I worry about is the online access on the Barbie site.....I keep a close watch to make sure the chatting is appropriate and so far...so good. A great buy- would recommend it to friends.

My 8 year old daughter recieved this toy as a birthday present, and she really enjoys listening to it. The volume does not go up very loud, so I do not have to be concerned that she could damage her hearing.

The only issue is the toy's durability. We are currently on our third player in less than a month's time. The first player simply didn't work at all. I exchanged it for a second that worked for about two weeks then just fried. I was able to exchange the second for yet another player. I just hope this one lasts a little longer. If you do purchase this toy, be sure to keep your reciept.

we had high hopes for this mp3 player. my 9 year old daughter saved her money and bought herself this. it DOES NOT work with subscription services like itunes or napster. you are going to have to purchase tracks. even after i purchased songs from walmart site, we couldn't get them to stay on the player. also the player kept turning off every few seconds even after fully charged. this thing is cute though. cute accessories to go with it but we are returning for one that is compatible with napster. it's just easier that way. my daughter was heartbroken.

I bought this MP3 player for my 6 yr old twins for Xmas. They love music and are always stealing my CD's. I also wanted them to have a way to listen to Irish music to practice their dance steps. They love them and so do I! This player is so easy to use, and downloading the music was as easy as copying a file to a memory stick. There arent any fancy playlist options but who cares! All I know is that the backseat of my car is no longer a battle zone for which song to put on the radio. They each have their Barbie player earplugs in and little smiles on their faces. And who can beat the price!!! They are also just as interested in changing the little outfits that come with the player. I highly recommend this as an inexpensive way to give your kid her own music without investing in a complicated MP3 player.

I purchased this for Christmas for my little girl. We won't be going online to Barbie World yet because I think she is too young but the player itself is great for the price. I think some reviewers need to be reminded this is not actually a "toy". It is an electronic device so it's durability will decrease if it is played with like a toy. It is not compatible with itunes or any other subscription service but you can burn a cd through your service then rip it onto the software provided for this MP3. Overall, it's a great starter to teach responsibility and how MP3 players work. I've already loaded songs on it so I can't wait for my daughter to open it Christmas morning!

My six year old loves it. We have windows vista and didn't have any problems playing the games on the computer. She loves shopping and dressing barbie on the computer. When my niece came over, also six years old, she would not put the mp3 player down. She loved it so much I got her one for her birthday. Her mother said she has it with her wherever she goes. It holds plenty of songs and is very easy to load the songs on to the player. I had no problems with this product which we have had since last Christmas.

My daughters loved this toy. It is versatile use it as an MP3 player, doll or for computer games. I am not sure about educational value but it is fun. So much after I bought two for my daughters I bought two more for my nieces. I would watch them carefully online. Lots of people we don't know are constantly asking to be friends.

This is a great MP3 and on line game toy. My 7yr old got it for christmas and I paid way more than $20. Now I am buying this one for her BF for birthday so they can go on-line together (at their request). It looks like the only reason it is low price is color green so go for it. Great toy. On line chats are restricted as to content and is very safe. I've been watching and seen no problems. Great fun toy for the computer lovin' kid. MP3 is great too!!

I bought this toy for my 6 yr old cousin and she is having a blast. I have to say that before I actually ordered mine. I went to Toys R Us and priced it...$69.99. Hello! $19.99 on Amazon, who can beat that! If it broke and I bought another it would still beat TRU's price, but luckily we haven't experienced any problems yet. I transferred music directly Windows media player before even using the setup CD that it came with. It is sooo easy. GREAT DEAL!!!!

Our 12 yr old has been begging for an MP3 player and we got her this for Christmas and she LOVES IT! It is very easy to use, comes with everything you need! Simple to upload music and easy to charge. I am very pleased with this purchase! And especially @ 20 bucks! What a great deal!
