Barbie Happy Family Sounds Like Home Smart House

My 3- and 5-year-old daughters have such fun practicing kindness and family life with this house and I haven't even put the batteries in it yet! Even their 7-year-old brother plays along with them! The "Uptown Dollhouse" is too urban and not meant for a family. HERE ARE SOME THINGS I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN SHOPPING: At our local Toys R Us, this COMES TWO WAYS, with two prices. You either got 3 toddlers or paid $10 more for a Dad, Mom, Toddler girl and baby girl instead. You could see the dolls through a window in the box. It is so worth it to get the family! You can pay $10 just for Alan (who comes with a stroller with little Ryan), but they were not in stock online and rarely found in a store. Otherwise, you have to get a groom or a Cali guy, neither of which are dressed like a dad. I couldn't find men's clothes in the store either. Also, the BED is big enough for Dad and Mom. It just looks small on the picture. COMMENTS TO THE MANUFACTURER: All the TINY PIECES are thoughtful, but overwhelming. And with one bump, you're setting the table...again! Try placemats that have a plate and utensils printed on them. Then the child can still feel she's "setting the table". That should cut your (and our) costs! Plus, the plates continually fall out of their slots above the sink. The baby does NOT FIT into the bassinett, her diapers do NOT FIT her and the food pictures do NOT FIT snugly into the fridge - they continually fall out. Yes, the house does fall over easily. We could set it next to a wall, but then they can't play in its back yard. Other than those details which should be easy to rectify, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS HOUSE!! It folds up so smart, too! There's so much to do! Thanks!

I got this dollhouse for my 12th B-day on Oct. 12 and it is sooo great i love it! I also have shopping fun midge and it is sooo fun the babies are sooooooo cute this toy is definetly five star worthy!!!!!!!! One thing about the dollhouse is that you have to put on all those little sticker's and i havn't put all of them on yet!!!!! But that's ok!!! It's still sooooooo cool!!!! The coutch can fold out into a bed and the house makes sounds of real-life!

It can eisily fold-up for storage and it is pretty light, too!!!! The colours are great and i have never seen such a nice Barbie table!!!!! It takes AA batteries and it is great cause it has a real frige with a light inside!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fun! Cool! Awsome!!!!!!!!! The little baby's cribs legs can come off so that they can tranport it when they go on vacation!!!!!!!!!

This is a great toy and i'm glad i asked for this for my Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bnought this for my 6 year old daughter. After buy a barbie house every Christmas, because they were not sturdy and having shelled out so much for the houses over the past three years, I was EXCITED, when this one arrived!!!!! She has had it for seven months, and it is the best barbie house I have ever boughty!! Her 4 year old sister plays with it as well. The sturdiness is UNBELIEVABLY GREAT!!!!!!!! They spend hours and hours playing and all the sound affect are AWSOME! This is the best investment I have made in a toy to date!!! Do NOT HESITATE to buy it, it is a must for all girls and will outlast their childhood! Also the batteries last a long time, which is great for me!

Hi, I`m Sarah I am 8 years old and I`m still playing with barbies.My sister Amy,she is 11 years old and still playing with barbies!The HAPPY FAMILY HOUSE is about $100s but when you buy it you are going to have the time of your life!When you get the HAPPY FAMILY HOUSE you also get 3 kids that come with it!Every one should have this toy!And just rember Sarah told you all of this stuff!Bye-Bye!

I happened upon this one as I was out starting my Holiday Shopping. It is a dream come true. They finally have a home to live in. I am so excited about this one that I do not know if I can wait to give it to my daughter for the Holidays. My daughters birthday is coming up soon, so I just may give it to her then. I love that Mattel has incorporated sounds just like any everyday household. While shopping I also picked up two other new Happy Family items. We both enjoy all of the dolls and playsets that Mattel has made for the Happy Family. Thanks.

Bought this for my 3 year old.Her first Barbie house.Awsemone,love all the gagets,running water sounds in the bathroom.And so much more than the old houses.Thank you for a great product

When I saw this toy in the photo album Midge comes with I told my Mom and Dad I had to have it!!!! I love it so much!!! It is a great house with lots of realistic things!! If your daughter wants this please buy it before it goes out of stock!! All the things I want for Christmas are out of stock so hurry up moms and dads out there and get shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the Midge home for Christmas from santa and i absolutly love it. It talks and the phone and door bell ring when it wants that is really neat. Even though Ryan and Nikkis room is kinda tiny it is so adorable. When you close the micowave door the micowave turns on and when it stops it makes a noise like their eating. The parents room is really nice. There is a mat that you set the house on. It comes with a dog, a doll for Nikki, 2 cups for Nikki and Ryan, 2 tea cups for Midge and Alan, and 4 regular cups, it also comes with plates and silverware, and lots of other things too. I love this barbie house this is the best one I've ever got and I really enjoy It and i'm sure you will too!

A good thing about this toy, is that it is a folding house and there are just a few more pieces that you can fit in a ziplock bag, just in case you would like to put the smart house in the car on the go! Or even if you just like to keep organized or even are trying to get organized,and what I love, is that the whole family talks, so lets just say that you open up the fridge, Alen, Midge, or Nikki and Ryan will talk, the house is very cute. My two sisters love to play with it when we all play together, it is great way to get everyone together in a room and play with this smart house, so who ever cant make up their mind to get this toy, read this review and get my opinion, so here it is: I LOVE THIS TOY!!!!

MY DAUGHTER LOVES THIS DOLLHOUSE. SHE WROTE AN REPORT FOR SCHOOL AND TOLD HOW THE DOLLHOUSE GAVE HER AN INSIGHT TO FAMILY LIFE. EVEN THOUGH THE HOUSE MAY FALL WHEN ITS NOT SET UP RIGHT. SHE AND HER BROTHER WHOS FIVE LIKES TO PLAY WITH HER AS THE OLDER BROTHER AND KIDS WHEN THEY PLAY TOGETHER. THIS TOY DOES MORE FOR LEARNING THAN VIDEO GAMES.EVEN THEIR COUSINS 12 AND 13 PLAY WITH THE DOLLS AND THE HOUSE. THIS IS TRULY AND HANDS ON GAME TO THE WORLD OF PRETEND.
