This is an good game(despite it being Barbie).

There are 5 horses to choose from:
-Palomino
-Arabian(grey)
-Mustang(piebald)
-Holsteiner(Bay)
-Hanoverian(Black)

The only care tasks you have to do are cleaning the hooves, brushing, water and food. Unfortunately the actual task just shows you a video of Barbie doing that task. I thought that was a big downside of the game because I always liked the care part of horse games.

The game is a quest type game: You have no real story line other than earning ribbons in certain events(showjumping, racing, cross country and endurance). After that you can go talk to people all over the island and they will have tasks for you to do.

I do like the free roaming aspect of the game, your horse can even swim for a certain amount of time.

So really my only complaints would be the care portion, the horses walk(looks like a trot), and make it longer.

Good game overall.

my granddaughter had this game for pc when i saw it for ps2 got it she loves it she is 10 she has tons of fun playing it.

i bought this game for my 11 year old daughter who LOVES horses. she has so much fun with this game.

I got this game really fast....it was ok i am a horse lover and i have had lots of barbie games but they are never that fun. This one was to short and theres not alot of horses to choose from!!! I did not dislike it but its really not the game for me!! other kids i am pretty sure will injoy this game!!!! =)

I purchased this game for my 10-year-old daughter and she loves it! It has a lot of different levels (or horses) and she has enjoyed trying to get to each new horse. This has, by far, been her favorite PS2 game she got for Christmas.

Have not been able to play this game as only have a pal ps2 game player and this does not work for the game sent which is ntsc/uc game, very disappoined as my daughter really wants to play it.
