My four year old daughter chose this toy when she received a gift certificate for her birthday. The cat responds to touch with purring, panting and chewing sounds. When the stethoscope is placed on the cat's heart, heart beat sounds are heard. My daughter loves to pretend she is the vet and she is giving the cat a checkup. The carrying bag is vinyl and fits the cat and medical tools well. Overall, if your child likes plush animals or ones that make sounds, such as Fur Real Friends, this toy will be a hit!
