We bought this for our 4 year old daughter for christmas. It says it is for 3 years and up. Our 4 year old is quite advanced for her age so I though she would have no problem using it. The songs on tape that come with it are for much older kids. Some of the songs I have never even heard of. She isn't old enough to read so she can't read the words off the printed pages so she can't learn the words to the songs. It is very difficult to hear the music even with the volume all of the way up. She mostly just uses the blank tape to tape herself singing "twinkle twinkle" and "Itsy bitsy spider". The head set microphone that comes with it is difficult to use as it doesn't fit the four year olds head nor does it fit my head. Not worth the money in my opinion.

My 5 y.o. daughter loves this karaoke machine. It comes with tapes that have both current hits and old favorites. She loves to play the music and dance, or sing along with the microphone. Her older brother also enjoys listening to the music. The only problem we had was when the tape would turn but no sound came out, which turned out to be easily fixed by putting in fresh batteries. A fun toy for girls who love music, singing, and dancing.

The tapes that come with Karakoke machine are of a very poor quality. It is difficult to hear the words or the music while you are singing into the microphone. After using it for only 4 days, the machine quit putting out any sound even though all of the other functions seemed to be working. I would not recommend this toy.

Our whole family had a great time singing with both the classic hits and the current ones that come with the karaoke machine. Has really good sound...crystal clear. Easy to operate even for little ones. Will provide hours of great entertainment!!!

Great toy! My 5 yr old daughter can't get enough of singing and dancing with this! My 3 yr old son likes it also. It is very durable and has lasted through the 2 of them fighting over it. I highly recommend it for any girl who loves to sing.

My husband bought this toy for my daughter. We had a problem with it as both microphones did not work so we were not too happy about that. Basically our daughter is using it to play her tapes.

My 4 yr old got this for her birthday.. She absolutely loves it!!! Being able to have her sister sing along with her is an added plus.. The head set was hard to figure out at first.. It goes in the back of your head with the longer section on your ear's.. I think people confuse as did I that the headset goes over the top of your head.. My three girl's just love this toy.. Having Brittany Spears on the song's was really a hit for them.. A great little girl toy!!!

My 3 year old daughter received it for her Birthday. She really liked it at first. However, it really needs an AC adapter. It is ridiculous that a Radio would come without a power cord. I refuse to replace the batteries every week, so it has not been touched in months.

terrible sound, doesn't come with a/c power, headphone mike doesn't stay on, daughter ended up cutting wires off and using mikes as pretend instead.

My little sister got this for christmas yesterday, so i do not yet know of the durability. she seems to have fun with it, but i find it quite annoying. the tapes have real songs, like Bye Bye Bye and Sometimes, etc, but do not have the real singers singing them. this upseted my sister very much. also, when you sing with the microphone or headset, you can not hear the words of the song very well. most people would think of this as a good quality, so that you can just hear yourself singing, but little kids most likely do not know the words exactly, so would like to be able to hear the singer. at least, that is how my sister is. another bad thing is that the headset does not like to stay on. also, the recording feature is absolutely horrible. also, this toy has no educational purposes at all! all in all, this is just an ok toy...i do not belive this toy is worth the price at all...
