My daughter loved this toy. She enjoyed using the microphone to sing along. The microphone worked really well. I was happy for the different volume levels. If you loved the movie then you will also love this toy.

This stylin' head is absolutely adorable. The microphone has a long cord and the volume is very loud. Does come with temp batteries so have a new set on hand. What amazed me is that the mouth actually moves as she sings and the hair is a very nice texture. She is so much fun that my daughter has forgotten to style her hair!

I took a chance buying this toy because I knew nothing about it. Guess what?? She sings and her mouth MOVES!! It is so cute. My grandaughter sings along with her and combs her hair, adds the barrettes, etc. She wears the tiara herself at times. The other characters also say things but their mouths don't move of course. There are special songs and a card showing the words of the songs. It is a very durable toy which surprised me. Also there is a mike for singing along with the doll. I find my grandaughter's voice is better heard through the mike when I adjust Barbie's voice to the lower level. That is nice too, there is a volume control! I am completely satisfied with my purchase and so is my little grandaughter. I would buy this as a present again. The price was great also. I don't regret this purchase at all!

We purchased this as a gift for a friend's 6 year old daughter. She loves it and says she plays with the karaoke part almost more than the styling part. I don't think of this as very educational (grooming? hand coordination? memorization of songs?), but it certainly is entertaining. So far, the toy has withstood daily play and trips from home to Grandmother's house. I was afaid it would break almost immediately, but so far, so good.
