I bought the Kelly Playland and three Kelly Club dolls for my nearly-4-year-old as an introduction to the world of Barbie. Her first play session lasted over two hours and ended only because of bedtime. She enjoys the Playland's detail: a tic-tac-toe game that really works, a clock with moving hands, a turning steering wheel, a shoe cubby -- gotta take off the shoes before going into the ball pit! -- and a ball pit with balls (yes, more balls would have been nice but 10 are plenty to keep track of). The climbing net and two slides can be rearranged for different play setups. The Playland seems durable enough to withstand lots of use. My daughter has fun role playing with the Playland, acting out various scenarios of the dolls trying new activities and helping each other. I'd highly recommend the Playland for any Kelly doll fan.

My little daughter spend a lot of time playing with her kellys in this playland, She has lots of fun. She can take the pieces and put them in other positions and fashion it her way. She can drop the pieces, strech them, fold them and they don't break. She pretends having a picnic with Kelly and friends in the small table and chairs and the fast food meal that comes with it. You have to watch for the little balls, because they can get lost easily. Overall, it is a very fun and durable toy.

I bought this for my almost 3 year old girl. She has played with it a couple of times but gets frustrated because the slides & rope thing keep coming off. It would have been nice if this toy were a bit larger so that the small kelly dolls can get up and down and through it more easily too.

I would recommend something else like the fisher price loving family playsets, if you want a realistic, not too large playset. They are of MUCH better quality.

I bought this toy for my 2 year old last Christmas. She is a big fan of the Kelly dolls. The set looked adorable. It came in a ton of little pieces to assemble and of course lots of stickers to put on it. It took me longer than I thought it would to assemble. I hid the balls and the soft drinks from her because they are small parts. My daughter loved it but was very frustrated because the slides would pop off or the roof would come off. After the billionth time of putting on the slide, I told her to play without the slide. Gradually pieces started popping off after much play. While she loved the toy, it was difficult and frustrating for her to keep having the slide pop off. Perhaps, it was because she was too young. However, it is flimsy like most of the Barbie stuff. I recommend it, if your child is very dextrous or is very gentle with toys. It is not good for wear and tear play. It is not good for kids that get easily frustrated. Save your money and buy a better Kelly product.

Kelly playland is one of my daughters favorite toys, she got it for her 4th b-day. She likes to move it from table to floor and vice versa, this makes it frustrating, since everytime you move it, you have to put the slides back on. It has small balls, little brother loves to put them in his mouth. Other than that, it is a great value for Kelly fans.

My daugther received this for her 3rd birthday. She loves going to the playground and this set was very similar to playgrounds we visit so she was able to get her Kelly doll to do all the fun things she does at playgrounds. She even does the sound effects when Kelly goes down the slide 'Weeeee'.

There were alot of pieces when I opened the box but I found the instructions easy to follow and it was assembled in a few minutes. The little stickers were a little fiddly to put on and can be difficult to get perfectly straight if you worry about that sort of thing. The slides and rope climb all seem to pop off easily, but that makes it very easy to change things around. I do need to help my daugther put them back on as it's a bit difficult to do herself. Despite the ease in which these pieces pop off, the set is extremely durable as my daugther often makes her Kelly doll "jump" around the platforms. It's not at all flimsy.

The details on the playground are quite realistic with moving tic-tac-toe game, steering wheel, gears and balls for the ball pit! (bit small though - beware of choking hazard). It's bright and colourful and comes with a table, chairs and snacks so your Kelly dolls and her friends can sit down and have a rest after they have played.

My daughter loves it - recommended.

We bought this for our daughter for her 6th birthday. She loves it, she says it was her favorite present. Her three sisters (ages 10, 7, and 3) love it too. They use it not only for Kelly dolls, but for all their small figures that they play with. It is perfect for my girls, because they love to play with small figure type dolls the most out of all their toys, and now all those small dolls have a way cool playground to play on.

The durability is not great, but I think that for a Barbie playset it is one of the best. We have had other Kelly playsets that have been trashed in two months. This one is holding up well. The plastic seems thicker to me, I think that is why. There are small pieces that will get lost, about 15 balls for the ball pit and two drinks. The slides and stairs do pop off occasionally, but they are made to be interchangeable so the kids can change the playground around. We have not had a lot of problems with pieces falling off during play, and the times it has happened the three older girls can put the things back on by themselves. If you are buying for a 3 year old you might spend some time putting slides and stairs back on, because my three year old can't do it by herself.

My daughter loves Kelly's Playland! It wasn't too hard to assemble but moving it is sure a hassle.

I purchased the Kelly Playland for my daughter about two weeks ago. Assembly was easy. Once my daughter wanted to move this toy to another part of the house, the purple slide fell off. Next as I set the playland down, blam, the rolling slide fell off. Each time my daughter plays with this toy, something falls off. Sure you can re-assemble it with no problem, but who wants a toy that is so much hassle? I plan to phone Mattel with my complaint as this is absolutely unacceptable. What a complete waste of my time buying this toy and my money!

Oma got this as a gift for her appreciative 4 and 6 year old grandsons. This toy is well built - much easier, I'm sure, to put it together without kids present but even so not too bad to snap things in place. Loads of thoughtful details - the only small pieces are the food and the balls for the pit. You could probably pull those out for younger kids. We are using it with the room by room family (which I'm told is the same size as the Fisher-Price loving family...) the boy and girl can do most of the things - only the baby can fit by the driving wheel though. Both kids were thrilled.
