Hello. I am 11 and I hate everything to do with barbie. That is untill they came out with a lip gloss maker. ... Your friends will be so jelous when they see you with lip gloss that you made yourself. If they make refill kits for this it is going to b a hot! toy. I would recomend this for a birthday present or even a Christmas present. This is the procedure. First you pur the lip gloss mixure into the tube. Then you chose a lip gloss holder to put it in. You put the lip gloss holder under the tube and turn the handle. Once you do that you put in what color lip gloss you want. Then you put in the flavornig. You mix it, smooth it out and wala. You made some lip gloss. There are recipe cards too. You can also make a neckalice. Thank you for reading my reveiw. I hope this reveiw helps you to see how fun this item is.

This toy is actually really fun. It's pretty durable, it won't break unless you turn the crank the wrong way of drop it. I would say the only educational part of it is the is how to make lip gloss though.Your child (or you) will love the finished prodect if you make it right. It is fun to make and use. There are 3 scents,bubble gum, strawberry and cherry. You can swirl and mix the colors and scents to make your own creation. Lip gloss today can cost $5 a pot. But this product makes 10 pots for $19.99 and you get to make them yourself, the way YOU want them.

I am 11 years old and for my age it is not cool to play with Barbie toys. But when I got this lip gloss maker for a birthday present acouple days ago, my friends were all over me asking if they could come over and when they were over they asked if they could make some. Being the considerate friend I am, I said "Sure!" Well, ten pots of lip gloss later I was left with a machine and NO LIPGLOSS! So now I ma back on Amazon ordering a new machine (my brother broke the other one also) I hope that I don't have to share the lip gloss I make out of this one because I love it and the flavors are fun, delicious and creative! Well, I would like to thank Matell for making such a wonderful product!

My daughter begged me for the lip gloss maker for Christmas. ... It took us longer to set it up, than it did for her to make all of the different combinations of lip gloss she could with six pots. She really had a good time for 30 minutes or so. The concept is good, but the time of play and supplies is inadequate.

They sell a refill kit for it mail order. ... The kit contains the base and red coloring. Does not come with more pots or fragrance.

It was fun to play with but she was a little let down when it was all done.

I think the barbie lip gloss maker is great.I'm only nine but barbie was horrible when i was seven.Now that they make this fabulous lip gloss maker barbies getting a little more popular.but the lip gloss maker isn't stupid now all my friends want to use it.I was so suprised they would make this from barbie.But you only have six pots thats not enough I bought this item today (October 23,2000) and i'm already out of pots.Mattel you should make refill kits with more colors and pots that would be perfect for anyone who likes this (probally every girl in the USA or world) would be so excited if you made refill kits.have a nice day.-chloe

THIS IS A WONDERFUL GIFT I AM NINE AND GO IT FOR MY BIRTHDAY BUT WE MADE ALL OF THE LIPGLOSS IN JUST AFEW DAYS. I WISH THAT THERE WAS A REFILL KIT OR SOMETHING.

I am 11 and I do not like Barbie stuff. I got this lip gloss maker for my birthday and it is so coooooooool!! Every girl should have this. It actually works like it's suppose to, unlike alot of other toys that you see on t.v. Matel does need to come up with a refill kit though. I tried to buy another one, but they are sold out everywhere. This is definately a hot item for christmas!! Have Fun ...

THIS IS THE PERFECT GIFT OR EVEN ACTIVITY YOU AND YOUR MOM CAN WORK TOGETHER WITH. FRIENDS CAN HELP TOO. I JUST LIKE IT SO MUCH THAT I HAVE ASKED MY MOM TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE SO I CAN MAKE LIPGLOSS'S FOR MY FRIENDS AS A XMAS GIFT.
