false advertising, buyer alert,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

Do not buy these Barbie books and Cd. The reason. They do not seem to exist. I have ordered them from two different sellers and both times got a book with the same title, but the book had no CD and was not designed to have a Cd. Once I got a story book and the next time I got a chapter book. All with the same tile, Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus. Amazon customer service was uneven. First I got a great woman who understood my 4 year old daughters disappointment. Then next time I got a young man who did not. He even blamed ME for ordering these books used. ( When I ordered the book and Cd, there was only used options to buy. That might still be the case for you.) Both times Amazon.com handled the shipping, since it qualified for prime delivery by Amazon. Yet, when I alerted Amazon.com to this wrong book problem, I was told that the product was sold by a third party not Amazon.com. It seems Amazon does not think that a product sold by a third party on their cite, effects their credibility. This is so even if their own web advertisement is totally deceiving.
Moreover, despite my having alerted Amazon.com to this, so far they have not policed their web. Maybe when you read this, there will be a big disclaimer, or maybe the false, Book with CD, claim will have gone away. Good luck. |
