5.0 out of 5 stars Very Fun
I love this pegasus. My favorite thing about it is the saddle has a strap (seatbelt) to hold Barbie on. All the other ones we have bought, Barbie just fell off. Also the wings do move when you move the horse up and down. My daughter loves it. She is very pretty too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Wings on the horse
My daughter loves it but she was disappointed when the wings keep falling off and it is hard to keep them on. So I kept them off so she plays with it without the wings.
Otherwise she loves playing with it. For the amount of money of the horse it should be put together better.

I bought this toy for my 4 year old grandaugher. Since Barbie rides this horse of course a little girl will want her doll to ride the horse. The wings fall off. We must put the wings back on at least a dozen time a day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite Birthday Toy, May 18, 2006
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus: Brietta the Pegasus with Light-up Crown (Toy)
We just got this for my daughter's 5th Birthday. This toy was what received the greatest excitement. While opening presents, my daughter exclaimed at the the top of her lungs, "I got a Brietta Pegasus!" The pegasus itself is durable, beautiful, and creatively sparks hours of imaginitave play. I didn't think it was a big deal trying to get it out of the box. Many toys are packaged that way these days... Perhaps an anti-theft plan. I just got some scissors and Brietta was out to play. So far we also haven't had any trouble with the wings. If they do fall out occasionally- they pop right back in. A small price to pay for such a well-loved toy that my 5 year old plays with for hours. As a mom who also loved unicorns and Pegasus ponies as a girl, I'm glad I can give that magic to my own girls.

3.0 out of 5 stars wings wings everywhere, December 2, 2005

My daughter enjoys Pegasus very much but my husband and I enjoy it less. We have put the wings back on hundreds of times. With my daughter, if the wings had been attached or mechanical, she would have broken them off or broken them so at least these go back on. Brietta is also difficult to stand up and her hair gets tangles. None of this makes her any less attractive to my daughter. I almost pulled my hair out trying to get the horse out of the packaging while my daughter fretted to get at her.

My daughter was thrilled when she received this for her birthday. However, after 2 days of the wings constantly coming off and having to snap them back in over and over we have both had enough of it.

3.0 out of 5 stars My girls LOVE it - but don't waste your time!, December 29, 2005

Wish I never bought this - wasn't that cheap, either, for a piece of junk! But, my girls love this. After unpackaging it - really, the worst toy I had to untie, etc, then the problem is those wings do NOT stay on. My girls will say mommy, fix the wings, and as I hand the toy back to them, the wings are already falling off! Frustrating for them - and for me. Tonight I told my daughter just to pretend it has wings - hoping she listens to me!But is not worth the money - and I know my girls would have been content not having her, just playing with the dolls and the mini pegasus horses with Kelly instead - but, they've seen this and now love it. I doubt superglue will help hold the wings in. If you haven't bought it yet, really, don't bother. And if child asks for it, tell them the truth, that it is a piece of junk and the wings don't stay on, let them pick out something else. My daughter has gotten good at listening to me when I tell her something is junk - have even shown her reviews on her, look, see how few stars it got, everyone is writing that it breaks - and thankfully she says okay, then I don't want it. Unfortunately, there were no reviews posted when I purchased this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Super glue the wings on- then it' would be 5 stars!, December 8, 2005

We recieved this item as a 4th birthday present for my daughter. She loves Brietta, after seeing the movie.

As stated in other reviews, at first the wings kept coming off whenever touched or moved. I fixed this problem I used super glue on each wing before inserting them, then let them dry. However, I did move them up and down along the drying period so the wing movement did not get stuck by glue. It had been several days now and the wings have stayed on securely.

My daughter loves her Brietta horse, and I must say that the legs are spectacularly jointed as in a real horse- she lays and kneels, as a real horse does. You do have to straigten her legs to get her to stand which takes some tweeking since she has several jointed areas, but once you get her level and standing firmly, you should have no problems.

She comes with a saddle which rides Barbie, it must be tightened pretty securely or it doesn't work so well, but all in all. I do recommend this to a Barbie Pegasus fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Lame!, December 16, 2005
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus: Brietta the Pegasus with Light-up Crown (Toy)
I have this beautiful pegasus, and I love her! I have the movie,
and I love Brietta! (Pretty name!)

The wings on my Brietta stay on just fine unless my cat knocks her over. But, I put the wings back in, and they stay in fine.

This pretty pegesus is NOT lame, and I am glad to have her. I have the Princess Annika doll too, and I love her as well. :)

PS: I now have my Brietta on a high shelf, so my cat won't get at her-most of the time!

she is so enchanting. Breitta has beutiful wings, but for me they only come off if I bang her into something. Her crown lites up and looks so pretty if your playing in the night. Her hair looks very nice when you first get her out. The only thing is she has a hard box to open, but dont let that stop you from geting one of the best barbie horse ever.
