"cute, little flying horses have rooted hair and come in a variety of colors and poses. Little girls will love to collect them all. Colors and styles will vary."The packaging of the horses actually states "more than 30 to collect." DEFINATELY a pain if you are shopping for someone who's a bit picky, or has a favorite color in mind! In fact, this is an item that is definately better to purchase in person. When you order this, you will get one of 10 or 11 or so different packages of three horses with each in some combination of white, pink, purple or blue. This is a huge change from the photos on the Barbie site which show them in green, yellow, red, etc. In fact, they look NOTHING like the Barbie website. Also, unfortunately, they do not come in the color combinations shown on their own packaging! (the packaging shows color combinations on the horse itself: blue/pink, etc) I spend a few days driving from store to store looking for ONE particular horse after ordering a few sets online... before I realized they didn't exist ;-) But, none of that is ToysRUs' fault, and these horses, while small, are exceptionally cute for children or anyone who use them to decorate playsets, or as companions for dolls. Everyone here has a great time with them. They DO certainly find their way underfoot a great deal, though, and are only about as durable as you would expect for small plastic animals. The wings, white slightly flexible, can also snap off or become too loose to function from being stepped on or overbent. But, at $5-6 for three, I guess I don't mind replacing a few that were lost or stepped on once in a while! Except that finding that exact horse could try your patience...

I know the movie hasn't come out yet, so I don't know if there are miniature ponies in it. But I saw these at Target and they are TINY! They are about 2 inches long! Just what a mother needs. More tiny little toys to get lost, and what are they for? No dolls are small enought to ride them. I'd stick with the Kelly dolls that come with bigger ponies if I were you.
