I bought this costume for my 3 year old daughter for Halloween. I personally had no idea who the Mariposa barbie was, but bought it because she wanted to be a Pink Butterfly. I couldn't have made a better purchase. She loved it and looked adorable in it. The material is surprisingly durable. And it's stretchy enough that I was able to have her wear a long sleeve black shirt underneath it on the chilly Halloween night. Now here we are almost two months later and my daughter still wears this costume at least 4 times per week. She'd wear it every single day if she could. She is a tall 3 year old and I bought the 3T-4T and it fits her great. The wings are so cute and are pretty well made. They are much more durable than the fairy wings I've seen out there made out of nylon. She has also seen the barbie Mariposa movie since Halloween and thinks it's so great that she looks just like her when she wears her costume. Super great purchase in my opinion. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

My daughter wore this for story book dress-up day. She portrayed a butterfly since she had a butterfly book. This costume is precious.

This WAS a pretty costume, but I was a little disappointed with the wings. They seemed flimsy and we had to velcro them in place to get them to stay up. Sizing is correct. I have a tall 2 year old and if she was 3 this would have fit perfectly, but as she had only just turned 2, it was a little big. Nothing a little needle and thread couldn't fix though. :)

My daughter loves this costume. It is thin much like most of the costumes you will find (especially for the price, but most importantly, the wings are sturdy and not as flimsy as a lot of the other ones I have seen. They are worn high so they aren't in the way of the child's arms and they don't flop, twist or turn sideways. They are very flexible so they won't break easily. The costume runs a bit small. I bought a 3T-4T for my daughter who fits a size 3T. Its almost too short...Overall, It is exactly what we wanted and you can't beat the price.

I don't think much of it, just seems like every other costume, but my daughter loves it. Actually it's better than quite a few of the butterfly costumes I've seen this season. It will serve it's purpose to "Make Her Happy"
