I bought two Barbie and me dolls for my daughers and they take them everywhere. This doll teaches how to tie shoes and use zippers. This doll is also solf and durable.

My daughter loves this doll. It's soft and she loves to drag it around when we visit people. It's better for a younger child than a regular Barbie doll. She can't pop the head off of this or anything.

This doll has never been billed as a collector's doll...she is intended for little hands who don't have the dexterity to dress regular Barbies, but want to play with them still. She is also NOT ugly, she has a pretty face and soft long hair that is easy to comb. Her body is soft and poseable, perfect for small hands. My just-turned-3 year old has lots of regular Barbies which she loves and can dress by herself, but she also has this doll and loves it as well. Highly recommended for young girls who don't have the patience for Barbies. Also good for learning to dress and be a "big girl". A Great Toy!!!

I think that is wonderful that they came out with this doll for various reasons: 1 is that it shows that everyone doesn't have to be a perfect size 0 like alot of other fashion dolls. 2 that it is a soft doll that if they happen to be playing with it rough that they won't get hurt bad. and 3 that the body parts don't come off so easily. I showed this to my 4 year old daughter in the store and she loved it so much I bought her one for her birthday.

Ok i change my mind after i bought this doll for my little sister. She is soft and easy for little hands and you wont get hurt playing with her as easily. She isnt that ugly either! HER face is beautiful and i agree she isnt a perfect size like the other fashion dolls and proves they can come in all shapes and sizes. She also comes with the funnest accesories and my little sister (3 1/2 years) loves this doll!!!

I think this is the most purfect doll. I got it with my Christmas money. I got her in a beauful box (not much pulling out of the box unlike the other dolls). I love the pink dress she came in it is a velvet chest and netting with a shiny soft fabric. I love her ballet shoes. The blonde hair, has beauful blue eyes. It is unlike the little dolls that are tatotos. She has a sport outfit matching Jacket and jogging bottoms- a velvety feeling to it and under the Jacket there is a white top with a pink heart and shiny pink trainers. She is purfect in everyway. She dosent stare at you she smiles and she looks at you like a best friend. She wears a pink heart neckless. There is other shades not just white there is black and taned. She is worth the money I think I am happy to buy it for your childen.

We got these for our 2 and 8 year old girls so they had something to play with togethor. The girls both love them. They are kind of strange looking, but easy to dress and fix their hair. My youngest has not put hers down and my oldest has made it its own room. The shoes are kind of hard to keep on, but this is so great for young girls especially.

My kids begged for this toy everytime they saw it on TV. Of course when they did get it, they were disappointed it didnt come with the bed and accessories like on the commercial. But, overall it is a cute and well made doll. The clothes are a little difficult to get on and off so expect to help out little hands when changing outfits. But still, a cute doll and good buy.

I am a 24 year old avid Barbie collector and i have hundreds of beautiful barbie dolls that i care for.

I wouldnt normally look twice at a doll like this, but as i also collect soft rag dolls i was drawn to this doll when i saw it in a store. I eventually bought the blonde version. I fell absolutly in love with this doll. It might sound crazy but You would only understand if you are a collector and love soft rag dolls to.

She is unlike any rag doll ive ever seen. her body even has a belly button and he fabric is durable and she is very poseable. Her clothes are beautiful. I do not care so much for the ballet outfit so she always wears her lovely soft tracksuit.

This doll's jacket actually comes in complete pink in the UK. i beleive it is only in america that the jacket is striped.

Her face is beautiful and very realistic and friendly looking with no make up around the eyes, giving her a pretty and natural look.

Her hair is so silky and soft. something i am most pleased with. however the hair is cut alittle oddly. In layers, and sometimes the layers are alittle eratic. I think the hair should have been left all one length really. as it looks like a machine cut its layers, and doesnt look so perfect. Her hair however is a real joy to brush and it very relaxing.

She has cute feet and hands which are very sweet.

A gorgeous doll for children and collectors.

We bought the Barbie and Me doll for my five year old daughter for Christmas. It was all she asked for and she loves it. I'm glad to see we're not the only ones having problems with the hair falling out - by the handful, it seems. The first time my daughter tried to zip the jacket, the hair caught in the zipper and I thought we'd have to cut it off. Finally it came out. I've been tempted to e-mail Mattel about the hair. It's a great doll, except for that problem.
