We bought this costume for our daughter for Halloween after looking at A LOT of mermaid outfits. Shipping was very fast. The costume itself is cute - very pretty colors and pretty true to the picture. She is so excited and loves the outfit.
The headband material will need a little work to make it stand up on its own and the butterfly decoration was falling off but easily fixed with some superglue. My daughter is a petite 5 1/2 year old and we bought the 4-6X size. The length is right on and the upper part is a little big. We will have to safety pin the back so that it doesn't fall off of her shoulders ... but we usually have to do this with most costumes for her. Plus she will have to wear a shirt underneath to stay warm on Halloween - again something that we usually do with any Halloween costume. I anticipate she will have fun with this for Halloween and for other play time. |
