I ordered this for our 4 year old for her bday. She LOVES it!! I have to say this is a really neat toy! It tranforms from carriage to hot air balloon effortlessly- even for a 4 year old! We have had the door fall off, as others have commented on, but our 4 year old can get it back on herself & is not bothered by this happening. The fun of the toy FAR outweighs the minor problem with the door. Definitely worth the money!

This is a great toy. It is well designed and well made. The carriage rolls well. My girls clip leashes on each of theirs and pull them around the house. Then, when they grab and pull the handle up, their dolls can fly all over the house at the push of a button. The dolls feet dangle and they stay securely in their seats thanks to seat belts. My girls love roller coasters and fly the dolls around sometimes pretending they are on a ride. The doors have popped off once or twice from the carriage but they go right back on. This was worth the money. One of their favorite Christmas toys!

This is a cute concept and idea - the carriage from the movie has a canopy that 'pops up' when you push a button on top. It turns into a balloon (and looks like a balloon full of air). The handle on top can be used to carry the dolls through the air since the inside seats separate from the carriage bottom.

We did have a wheel fall off immediately and popped it back on. And honestly, my 7 year old didn't like that it didn't have a horse. I think girls love the horses as much as the carriages themselves.

In all, I do feel for the quality that it is very overpriced at MSRP. I'll see how long it lasts.

My daughters love the toy, but the wheels broke off only after a few months. It's not repairable, so we had to toss the entire thing. Poorly made materials, and I am finding that most barbie stuff is very cheaply made.

My 4 year old daughter got this for Christmas, and she absolutely loves it. She has taken a little dog leash, and attached it to the coach so she can pull her dolls around. When she takes out the inside, which functions as a hot air balloon ride, she puts her stuffed animals in the empty carriage, and pulls them around too. It isn't the strongest toy in the world (it is plastic after all), but it is holding up very well, and shows no signs of breaking anytime soon. She has no trouble getting her barbie doll in and out of the carriage, either....a definite plus.

This is so cute and my children's favorite toy this Christmas. The balloon action works very well and easily - my two year old it pulling up the ballon, flying around and closing it back up effortlessly. Unfortunatly the door fell off after just a couple seconds, but it can easily be left off and not missed. The plastic on the entire toy is thin and cheap as is the material for the canopy/balloon. This toy will not last long if handled roughly (as most children handle toys), but it is a great toy while it lasts. We purchased it at seventy-five percent off - for that price it is a GREAT deal and I don't mind if it doesn't last as long as it should. If you are paying full price it is a rip off.

this is the worst toy. Educational??? no.... all my child learned was frustration. the canopy pops up and falls off the entire carriage. the seats fall out, the seatbelts do not work and a full size Barbie can not fit in this carriage. she falls over and out.
the wheels are so cheap and dont roll well. it is a dust collector now in our house.

This was, hands down, the number one toy my daughter played with on Xmas morning. The conversion from carriage to balloon is a blast for her, and it serves as a great prop when she's making up her stories. I didn't give it a five for durability because it seems to me that with heavy use the "up and down" of the balloon could go wonky, but so far so good. She's a pretty gentle kid, but I'm curious what will happen when my younger son gets a hold of it. There's not much more they could do (it's a plastic toy), so it's just part of the beast, if you will.

If your daughters love Barbie, and if they have seen the movie, you can't go wrong.

My 5 year loves it. Especially that the top pops open to make the balloon.

This was by far our daughter's favorite toy this Christmas! It's like 2 toys in one because the top separates to become the hot air balloon ride for 2 barbies. Then the bottom is a carriage and can fit toys up to a small stuffed animal size, which makes it more versatile.
